Ran BlueDriver OBD2 code reader and trying to locate the bypass valve. I disconnected negative post for 15 secs and reconnect and ran engine but fault did not extinguish. The following day, I disconnected negative post for a longer duration check engine light went off for 48 hours. The check engine light came back on and won’t go off now

I tried to clear fault code with blue driver app with negative results.

I am include a photo and want to know if this is the bypass valve.

Any suggestions?
Sam

3 way coolant valve. This is what it looks like. Though it says up to 2022 it is the same for 2023. Location wise im not sure. But follow your heater core hoses and you should find it

That looks like a vacuum brake pump.

I also read on the diesel forum that if your coolant is not full it could trigger the code.

I checked the dipstick on coolant reservoir .. the coolant level 1/3 above in relation between LOW and MAX level .. I added over 1L of coolant to bring it up to

I topped coolant level to MAX level and approx 1 L .. level was between 1/3 the distance between LOW and MAX .. it is close to MAX level now .. the check engine was out when coolant was added. Thanks very much and hope it was solved the issue
