Is it crazy to keep my stock 18" wheels with a Zone 4" lift and Toyo 35s?

2020 Rebel

You need to know how close the 35's are gonna get to the UCA's. That is the only issue. It is guaranteed you won't be able to air down. If that is not an issue to you then you only need to know how much air to keep in the to keep them from rubbing.

Thanks for the feedback. I’m changing the UCA’s to the Zone Adventure series UCA. The shop said I would still be able to air down but they would have to put in hub spacers in order to use the factory wheels. I haven’t done a lot of rock climbing but not being able to air down seems to defeat the purpose. I told them the purpose of the lift was to tackle harder trails not just improved looks.

Glad to hear you actually intend to use it. While they are great and capable trucks, rock crawling is asking them to do a little too much. But hard trails and easy one's are a blast in them.

Looking forward to seeing the finished product. I have a 2025 rebel thinking about getting a 4 inch zone lift. i had a 2024 with 4 inch bds with fox elite shocks and I didn't like the ride, very stiff. I hit a deer and insurance totaled my truck so I lost allot of money . anyway post picture please! thanks!

Got the truck back today and I am super happy with how it turned out!

Yes, I went with the 35" Toyo Open Country A/T III (LT35X/12.5/18) and kept the stock 18 wheels. So far so good. No noise, no rubbing, and rides great!
