Just received my 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten. The function that controls the lumbar/thigh on the door panel drivers and passenger not working. Also after seeing a review on You Tube I am missing a page on the center stack that controls this part of the seat is missing or not accessible.
My question is has anyone have this trim and can either use their lumbar function of the front seats or having the same issues.

Yes my lumbar control is also not showing up on the screen and door controls do not work

Did anyone get a resolution to this? Just received my Tungsten and it is having the same issues. Also missing the screen option that is supposed to be there. Dealer currently cannot figure it out. Filed a claim with Ram to hopefully get a resolution. Without it, you cannot adjust the lumbar settings.

I thought I was the only one!! Yes my Tungsten had the same problem but finally got it fixed! The lumbar was fully extended and felt like I was driving with a softball lodged in my back and the switches didn’t work. It was at the dealer for 3 weeks. What we found: Stellanis shipped a group of Tungstens that did not have the software package for that part of the comfort package downloaded. The switch didn’t “see” the motor because it had a limited package software on board (which didn’t have 24 way adjustment). After Stellanis re-downloaded the software for the Tungsten via satellite it now works. Sooooo much better!

As in my earlier post, this is because your Tungsten was originally going to be a Limited and the software for the 24 way seats was never downloaded. I spent so much time running this to ground but assumed it was just my truck at first. The software engineer who figured this out was literally in Dubai working for Stellanis (not joking).

Can you tell me what dealer fixed your lumbar problem

I need to get my seat fixed it like there is a soccer ball in my seat what dealership fixed the problem

Same issue. I was very confused. I’ll reach out to the dealer to see about a software re-install. I also cannot use the digital key but I was told this has not been released in the app yet.

I'm dealing with the same issue. It is a 2025 Tungsten; I have only put 200 miles on it in 7 weeks. It's so uncomfortable. I traded my 2019 Limited for this after waiting 8 months on the order. It is currently at the dealership in Arizona; they have no idea what is wrong. It's missing the "seat" tab in the comfort setting, and the door "+/-"doesn't do anything. The lump in the middle of my back (both front seats) is the most uncomfortable seat I've ever had since my 85 Fiero. Any help or insight would be appreciated, as a billion $ corp can't communicate.

Yesterday I got notified of a software update. With this update, the seats now work as they should.
Did this happen over the air or did you have to take it in? Mine is at the dealership and they told me they knew about the problem and that there was no current solution...

I took my 2025 Tungsten to the dealership last week. They confirmed the issue but didn’t have a solution. They advised leaving the car with them so they could troubleshoot if they heard back from corporate. After four days, I decided to pick it up without the problem being resolved. The service advisor mentioned that a software update was expected in about a week, but I haven’t received any updates yet. Both the service advisor and I are monitoring this forum for potential solutions. Hopefully, someone will share a fix, or the update will resolve it.

So mine is doing the same thing. I took delivery of my tungsten almost 3 weeks ago and drove it home, where it sat like a paperweight because I was so frustrated with how uncomfortable those seats are. Thank goodness I read this forum and figured out. It wasn’t just me.
I dropped my truck off at the dealer yesterday. They were forced to open a STAR case. The engineer at star of course, said they had never heard of this problem and that they want the technician to start taking apart my seat to check for wiring. The technician working on my truck happens to be the foreman and I have yet to find one tech line person that has ever been smarter than the foreman. This is so ridiculous. The foreman definitely believes me, because everything points to a coding issue not a wiring issue. Unfortunately, he still has to do what tech line is telling him to do. I did email my advisor this morning and let her know that according to a couple of you guys, there should be a software update for my truck. Really hoping they find it.

It happened over the air. I got in my Tungsten and when I started the engine noticed a message saying there had been an update to you connect. When I read that I went to the comfort screen and found a new page for the seats that allowed me to do all the available adjustments to the seats.

My truck just updated last night and all works as it’s supposed to. No idea if it matters but I connected my truck to my home Wi-Fi in the software updates app. Attached is the current software build model.

Thank you both for the post. Just sent the information about the over the air update to my service advisor. They are scratching their heads pretty hard over my truck since ram technical line is saying they’ve never heard of this problem. Seeing that there is an update to the system it once again seems like at Stelantis the left hand has absolutely no clue what the right hand is doing. Thank goodness I have a great service department that is willing and able.

My Tungsten's Uconnect updated this morning after a quick stop at a store. I waited until I got home to install the update. It resolved the seat issue, and now the "SEAT" tab appears in the middle of the comfort page. The lumbar support is functioning as expected and is a HUGE improvement. The door panel controls (+/-) now also work as they should.

The old software version was FCA-MY24.U31.42-PROD, and the new version is FCA-MY24.U35.26-PROD. Interestingly, the notes mention that the U35D infotainment unit has been updated to U35.26(D). The previous software was U31, which makes me think the infotainment system originally had the wrong base software. This lines up with some earlier reports I saw.

I guess this is just part of being an early adopter. Either way, it’s working as expected now!

Well, of course, when my service department connected my truck to Wi-Fi, they had to call no joy. Think it must just be me. They are going to keep it connected all weekend and hope that an update does come through.

Recieved my software update Thursday morning. I was going into a store and U Connect asked me if i wanted it done then. I hit ok. When i got back into truck it was about 30% done. It took about another 10 minutes to complete. The thing i noticed right away was in the heads up display now you could see the name of the street/road/ highway you were driving on. Before no matter how i tried to set it up i couldn't get it to show that. I knew it was supposed to be there cause it is in my wife's 23 Grand Cheerokee Summit. And yes now i have the screen to adjust my seats also. We might find out that update took care of some other issues also.

Did you take it to the dealer first and did they open a case? Or the update came out of no where?
If no where, how long after ownership did the update appear?
I'm having the same problem as everyone else. Stellantis internal system is showing my VIN is up to date and no updates available. I don't understand how others are getting the update pushed over the air yet it doesn't show as available for mine.
