Does anyone know what fuse location to use when hard wiring a dash camera in a 2025 Ram 1500. My previous 21 Ram 1500 i was able to use fuse location F66 under the dash. But in the 25 they redesigned the fuse box.
I just need a 10 amp location to turn on camera once vehicle is started.

25s are still too new and not a whole lot of people have it yet
not even mention messing with it.

take a multimeter and start poking!

You can use Fuse F26, 15B, 41A, or 35 on the interior fuse box for the 2025.

Yep! That's how I found it back in 2018, before we had a @Jimmy07 here.
yeah when im not sure when working on customers' cars i just take a power probe and start poking the ones with labels that I suspect are key-on powered and then find the one i like lol

Are there good fuse candidates for both the ACC and Constant on for park mode dash cams?

Where are y'all planning on installing the rear camera? I just ordered one as well. Would love to have it somewhere hidden as it looks to be a little bulky.
I have the BlackVue DR970X 2 Channel Box version. The processor etc. is located in a separate remote box which allows for smaller cameras. My rear camera will be installed on a bracket that fits into the upper trim in the center of the rear window.

you can't get better than fitcam. not sure if they have option for 2025 but there's no way to better hide it when it's integrated lol

Yeah I looked into them and love how integrated they are. The only downside I see is that I usually don't keep my vehicles more then 2-3 years, so after that, I would need to sell it and buy another one. I went with the WolfBox one just because I can remove and install it somewhere else. If I don't like it, I'll just install it on my wife's jeep and buy the Fitcam anyways lol

Anyone know what fuse to move so the cigarette lighter turns off with ignition? My radar detector stays on and I need to unplug and replug it in every time I get in.

Just sending a quick bump, in case anyone is aware of a solution for this?

yeah makes sense.
for me dash cam are just cheap replaceable items and it makes no sense for me to keep it and move between vehicles. I am OCD and I tuck all the wires, and I run front AND rear cams so it really doesn't make sense for me to undo all that just to move to a different car. Besides, chinese electronics are not made to last anyways especially when exposed to the extreme heat in the summer and extreme cold in the winter. also dash cam technology do get updated with newer higher resolution etc.

2-3 year would be a good time to upgrade/ renew. they're cheap enough anyways a few hundred bucks.
