While your problem bites for sure, at least you have taken delivery. Alot of us are still waiting. myself included since January and many on here have had theirs ordered since December of 23 and have not seen their trucks yet.

I’m not sure lol I’d rather be out of a vehicle than deal with another new vehicle that has issues. You lose faith in the vehicle quickly especially when you spend all this money on a truck you expect it to be problem free

that's actually the dilemma right now with my wife and I, do we buy it or lease it so we can roll out of it quicker if it has a lot of problems.
she is nervous since I have never had a Ram before, and the process so far has been less than stellar.

Lease it, if you don't like it you can move on. If you like it, then buy it after the lease.

Update - The original delivery ETA for the new engine was 8/29. The new ETA is now 9/11. My gut is telling me that they will miss that date too.

And it's official, I have put more miles and time on the rental then my truck.

Might be time to look into your local lemon laws and try to get into a different truck

Purchased a new Ram 2025 Laramie in June. With only 3,216 miles, one of the turbos had a major malfunction that send metal into the engine. The dealership mechanics, working with Stellantis engineers in Europe, have determined that the engine is a complete loss. That whole process took 10 days.

Here is where I need help. Before a new engine can be delivered, someone in Europe needs to authorized the shipment first. So far it's been 8 business days and no authorization. Who do I did to light a fire under to get me new engine?

Late to the party, what was your total time in the shop? I was experiencing the same issues and they found metal flakes when the pulled the plugs. Star approved an engine replacement but no eta. Did you file a complaint with ram cares? Did you compensate for loss time or anything.

You need to work with the dealer. Be polite and firm. No one on the internet can help you, assuming this is legit, which seems odd for them to need so long to respond at all.
