Where on the window sticker does it tell you the size of the bed?

hey guys,

Just to get it out of the way... I DID search before starting this thread but the search bar showed me nothing for where to look on the sticker, etc.

Is there a part of the Window Sticker somewhere that tells you what size bed it will have? I'm searching for the 6'4" bed but it's a pain to tell just by looking.

Thanks for any help guys!

nothing noted on my Monroney window sticker stating bed length.

you can get the vin number and do an Equip listing, shows up there. mine says 5 foot bed, not 5 foot 7 inch.

Just looked at mine for the 6'4" and it shows nothing on the sticker

Turns out there's a vin decoding sheet FCA put out.

Letters 5-7 on your VIN need to be RFR for it to be a 6'4" bed in a crew cab

Yeah, it wasnt on my sticker either, which I found really odd.

Seems like such an easy thing to have on the sticker.

So I was in the same situation when looking, I just started looking at how much sheet metal was between the cab and rear wheel.

Here is a VIN (mine) breakdown for your viewing pleasure.
6th character denotes bed length.
Sorry for all the dashes, but the site kept removing the blank spaces.

Well this got me looking at my VIN the dealer sent me for my truck. Some of the numbers didn't match so I looked into it further and they sent me the VIN for a Jeep Wrangler... Now I'm a little annoyed... I've been tracking the build of someone else's Jeep lol.

Hmmm, my sixth character is F, but I have a short bed.
Try looking for wheelbase?
Crew Cab 5'-7" = 144" wheelbase
Crew Cab 6'-4" = 153" wheelbase
Where on the sticker does it have wheelbase? I used wheelbase when I was looking at Ford F-150 window stickers, but I don't believe Ram window stickers have bed length or wheelbase on them, you have to look elsewhere.

I think you’re right. I don’t see it either. I have to look at my build sheet to find “5 FT. CARGO BOX” called out.

Okay, I have this to offer as a question.

Quad cab standard and only bed is 6'4

Rebel crew only has 5'7

So, is this missing on both the short and long bed.

Crew Cab with short bed is standard.

Crew Cab with longbed would be optional.

Longbed owners...no listing in optional equipment?

Thanks.

Odd is the listing of options by Ram. Shouldn't be this difficult.

I checked the window sticker of a crew cab 6'-4" bed truck online...no listing of the long bed as optional. No mention of bed length or wheelbase whatsoever.

Thanks @SpeedyV. I wasnt one hundred percent sure the conversation checked that.

Why oh why can't they list accurate info on these.

Helps the mirror debacle though.

The latest version of the Monroney stickers do not have it. You need to simply look at the 6th digit of the VIN. If there's an "F" it is the 6'-4" bed.

DISREGARD, I STAND CORRECTED with more current information.

Everyone wants to blame FCA on some sort of debacle, but guess what - all manufacturers have had misses on their US-required Monroney stickers at one point or the other. Frustrating - yes, of course! It would serve Americans better with less fixation on standardizing only one part of the sticker versus all of it! Having apples to apples is definitely better, but seems we have oranges and bananas.
