Guess my $50 carlinkit would just have to continue to do lol. I was using it last weekend and thought to myself this is getting a bit annoying but I cant stomach Infotainments price. Im sure it can be done cheaper since they’re known for over inflating their prices and taking the information from others that happened to figure it out.

Well...TRX Dream over!!

My dealership buddy told me this morning that his brother is keeping the TRX (he often keeps what's cool). He said "see what's incoming" (probably none at this point) or "order" (no interest in an RHO), so I told him I'd keep the G/T (unless brother changes his mind) and decide on ordering either a 2024 Durango 392 or HC instead.

They don't have either as a 2023, but other dealerships have a number of both in Vapor Grey (GCM) and Destroyer Grey that are 8-10k discounted for 392s and 3-5k discounted for HCs...THAT it what I really need to snap up!

I'd love a redeye challenger but I can't justify that expense for that car or that I'd be modding it on day 1

"Modding on Day 1"..you say that as a detractor, haaa..that's the point!!🤣

Kooks LTs & X-over, Flowmaster Super44 A.T. 3" catback, T/A392 RamAir intake, DiabloT2 w/ HHP Custom Tune etc, etc...THREE pairs of rear tires in 10k miles!!

SRT392s are amazing and have the programmable SRT suspension like the HCs..TONS of fun for the $$$.

Nah, I'd have a Redeye making 1000+ whp inside 6 months, I don't need that temptation 🤣 .

It's never enough for me

720rwhp/721rwtq...you don’t "really" need more!
DINKY little 5.4L/330ci, 20psi on 20° advance, 93octane w/ Torco red Accelerator (~98)...4th gear at 80mph will spin the rear tires literally until you lose your f-ing nerve!
(This is 19psi dyno sheet couldn't find the final 20psi one...back in 2009 these numbers were really pushing it! Nowdays, not so much!)

It's a never ending addiction that sucks you in over and over and over! Ugh🥲

"Ready Go" has been on probably 20 cars in the 31 years I've been using it!! (keeps me "poor")🤑
I actually changed it off the L-G/T in anticipation of putting it on a Durango SRT392 this spring.
New plate for Ram is more fitting of my state of mind currently....
(maybe change my forum name?, nahhh)

My buddy had a 12 gt500 with just a pulley swap. Man, 10 years ago, that was filthy in my 24 year old brain. Now, sadly, it would be kinda mundane and normal. I've always loved the 392 cars (challenger and charger). I've said it before and I will again. I think they missed an opportunity not putting a 6 speed manual in the charger with the 392. I know I would have loved one. Some of dads still want to row our own ha.

Would have taken sales away from Challenger

I once bought a new limited edition (1 of 2000) 2000 Tahoe Limited 4dr/2wd, black with Police 3.42posi/brakes/suspension, etc and took it home with 31 miles on it and swapped in a T56 6spd from a Camaro Z28. Bought ever part needed from the dealer by ordering pedals, springs, switches, hydraulic lines, etc from a same year manual trans Chevy 3500 truck! Chevy used the same basic firewall so all the holes, studs wire harnesses, etc were basically PnP. Only real mod was connecting the 3500 Clutch booster line to the T56 slave cylinder line..had to splice a fitting between. Have only ever heard of one other.

In an ideal world, 700-900 whp would be plenty however I live in Dallas where 1000whp allows you to keep up on the street and only qualifies you for TX2K.
My Z06 is slow with 600+ whp and 800whp on a nano kit and I'm surrounded by Mustangs with turbos only making 1000 whp and a 10spd. Those MFr's need pilot licenses

Here in Texas, 900-1000whp is like guns, everyone has it

And don't even get me started on the F150 guys

You're probably right, but we're not talking competing companies ya know? Both cars are the same brand ha, so doesn't matter final numbers (to me anyway, I'm sure they care). Oh well. Just wishful thinking on my part.

In Texas you say, hmmm...🚚🚚🚚

Yeah, there's some seriously fast :poop: down here and Houston is probably king. I know of guys local to me making 3000whp. Mostly Vipers, GTR's, Audio R8's and Lambo Huracan & Gallardo.
Theres a yellow Huracan in Houston making 3500whp and a Viper making 3700whp. You can go to Cars and Coffee and get demoralized with the number of 1500whp "entry level" cars.
There's RCSB F150s running 8's, I was at a stop light in my car on NT05R's on about 18psi. A 4 door F150 pulled up next to me and we went on the light.
It was an instant Top Gun moment
I said to Hollywood, "Where did he go?" He said, "Where did who go?"
I can pull 1.8 60ft's and left good, that truck was already in the next zip-code, TT F150 with a coyote making 1000 whp and the only clue was R tires on all 4 wheels.
My new engine is done and we took 1 point of compression out of it. I am considering a single front mount turbo like a guy in San Antonio is running

At 3K lbs and a single Precision 8891 I could probably be competitive.
