I just received the glove box and center console LED's in True Blue. Anyone else get in on the pre-order of the new additions to the Ambient lighting kit?

Before and after. It’s subtle but so much better.

Did you ever get it in? I’m on Long Island I can’t get it in and I’ve been trying for hours.

Nope haven’t tried in a couple days. I wasn’t wanting to change the glove box light itself but it might end up going that route to get the tube in. I still have to tackle the door panel ones as well

I don't recall having to remove the tube when I did mine. I went in through the vents and it fits onto the end of the tube.

Gotcha. I forgot they made a kit for trucks that didn't come with ambient lighting.
That tube and the glove box lamp would be the hardest parts, everything else should be simple after that.

The glovebox isn’t getting done unless I can’t find someone with the right size hands to get the tube in …..lol

@ UJim... not sure if you tried this way or not... with the radio pulled, slide the tube from the left to the right and have the top glove opened and with your other hand guide the tube into position... when it's in place there is a stop far right and it won't go any further... if I remember the flat side of the tube faces down and towards the front of glove, the tube sits in a couple a plastic supports...

really interested but too bank for me at this moment. Maybe when I want to impress a girl and have some intimate time in the truck then I'll shell out the money to put it in to set the mood.

for now though, all my money will go to off-road mods.

That was my original plan but I took one look at the small driver boards and I knew my vision was not up to the task, nor was my patience.

I bought the glove box light with over the head console light. Taking apart the glove box made the tube a lot easier to install

For the over the head led light did you have an issue installing? I connected the white/green strip and the black like the directions say but still nothing. I hooked the led to a 9volt batter to make sure it works and it does. Any ideas?

I didn’t have any issues but I don’t remember the details of the install. What type of connection did you use?
