TAZER DT for 2019 RAM 1500

I still have to test mine, I was waiting for that as tomorrow I will bring my car to the dealer first.
It is a pity to read that so less things work (or work good) for the 2022.
I hope options like, the front camera turns on when it detects something with the front sensors, are working well.
Also I hope to have the front camera stay on longer, cause it is annoying that you are parking and doing some reverse and forward manoeuvres and when switching from Reverse to Drive, it stops the camera after 5 seconds. It should be on for 30 seconds or so.

I don't have a front camera, but with the park sensors in the front, don't really feel I need one. I've gotten pretty good at knowing how close I can get to objects once the sensors start screwing at me

The Tazer with latest update on my 23 works well, it allows input for nav while moving ( Wife or some one always puts info in for me) if you enable turn assist it will kill the the in motion nav so you must choose which one you want but both does work fine. The start/stop does not stay disabled. When I get back in truck start it up the start /stop is back to default setting of on. The Fogs on with Brights works fine. I can get back up Cam to stay on if you want it too, but not sure why one would want it to unless your hauling a trailer with load. I do not have the 360 cams wish I did but my last 2019 Ram had the advanced safety packaged I paid for with the cams all I ever ending up using was the cams....I disabled auto Park, Adaptive cruise, Lane change so it was a $1900 option this time when I ordered I felt was too much for 360 cams! Wanted just the 360 cams and could get them with ordering that whole package! The Tazer does the functions I wanted it for last truck and for this one so I'm happy and the support from Tazer is very fast when I need it. I have noticed on 23 you must wait after selection for the "Update" message to finish before moving to next menu item before things work properly....never had to do that with the 19 truck at all. So I had to set things like three times to get things to work right as well on 23.

One of the beta release notes (still in testing, for the upcoming general release) states that the Nav In Motion feature has been disabled with UConnect5, as it isn’t supported by the radio and caused problems.

Also everyone I asked with a 2022 confirmed it didn't work, I wonder if they fixed it or the firmware is differnet enough on a 23.

I wish there was a way to know what worked without buying it and getting charged fees to return it if it don't work.

Well I can tell you the nav in motion works on the 23 I have and as of Yesterday again it worked. Without the tazer it does not. I ran the latest Firmware from Z when I took the Tazer out of 2019 Ram before putting it in the 2023. About the 360 cams....not sure what your meaning but if you never ordered a truck with 360 cams the tazer will not make 360 cams work if the truck don't have the cams ...lol.

I have a 2022.
I also have 360 cameras Nav in motion and camera in motion never worked for me. I can't find anyone who has 360 cameras with it working on uc5. I also can't find anyone with a 22 who has nav in motion working.
23s are still uc5 but run a completely different set of firmwares then 2022s, likely due to the second android screen) for the unit.
When works on a 23 might not on a 22 and vice verse. Disabling the seat belt chim is a prime example can't do that on a 23 people say.

On the 23 Laramie you could order the 360 cam as a stand alone option ( XN1 Option $1095) or order the (Technology Option where you get adaptive cruise, lane guidance, auto park, 360 cams, Pedestrian sensor rear, for $1995) if one never ordered one of those 2 options on the 23 there was no 360 cams. I have not turned or tried to turn off seat belt ding....I use seat belt extenders both sides...lol. but I will check it out. To use nav in motion on 23 you must disable the lane assist or will not work! Yes it sounds like 22 is different than the 23.

Mine works 99% of the time. Every once in a great while it will decide to activate Auto Stop/Start.

When I do decide to turn back on manually myself the Tazer turns it right back off again after one cycle. Kinda weird but I’m totally fine with that since I never use it anyway.

Your correct....I too had and hated Lane assist and hate Adaptive as well....and I had the auto park and darned near had it to run in to a late model Vet on day while it was auto parking I hit brake and cancelled just in time...... So that was it! I never used any of it and on the 2019 Ram. I think it was about $1600 option too! I did use the 360 cams and Tazer allowed me full views while in motion and was nice but not worth the 1600 bucks to me!

maybe that is why it takes so long until a new update is released , there are so many bugs and things that are not working on this 5th gens that they always have something new on their plate.

I have a 21 limited and it only works with 18.1.6 or less. Any firmware higher and it does not function correctly

Did you have any other issues with that firmware? Trying to decide if I should downgrade as all other functions I want seem to work fine
