I think it is more of an issue with your dealer and their guidance. I was the opposite - my dealer set expectations of 6+ months based on last year's trends, but it is looking to be about 10 weeks. I appreciate someone giving me worst case on schedules.

I would agree mostly. My dealer should have never told me that. He should have known or at least told me he didn't know. My dealer has giving me to the best of my knowledge all the information he has avaliable. I wish he could pick up the phone and get some answers but I'm sure that wouldn't yield anything good for anyone

Where I disagree is seeing orders put in for a similar truck ship or even be delivered in less than half the time. That's a process that has let me down and left me behind. I know I'm being dramatic about it all. The circumstances surrounding this order are just stressful is all.

I'm not sure if it was 71 days, but yeah pretty quick. It is in production and I have a build sheet. My wife is tired of me reading it . Here is my "ultrasound" of the baby. Seeing your rendering makes me kinda wish I had opted for two-tone, for something like the 8th time.

No matter what you choose, you'll second guess something. I got the granite two-tone because I thought it made the truck look higher. Sometimes I wonder if I should've gone with the single color. Good news is, if you decide later that you really want the two-tone, it's just a paint job away.

What burns my bacon is seeing orders (with almost the same specs to the same area of the country) placed 3 months after mine get built and delivered in 5-6 weeks. That’s just BS. Mine was built and then it sat in the SHAP lot for 5 weeks. WTF? I know there were trains coming to MD earlier as I was following others shipping to the same dealer. Why didn’t it get on an earlier train? It’s maddening at best. Anyway, want you to know you are not the only one frustrated.

I don’t know -- looks really good in monotone billet silver; like the last two Rams I owned. At least you'll have the option to make it two-tone if you want. I may have to just learn to love a two-tone truck.

Nope. Not accepting it. It was missing trailer surround view camera system. If you click it on build, it adds. As soon as you click level one or elite, it disappears. Salesman assumed it was part of one of those packages. The connector isn't on it. He tried telling me that according to his manager, it's there, it works through the 7 pin. It was hard to even find, but there would be a 12 pin connector. Decided to reorder. Since being on here, I see where I could get a better deal out of state anyway. Called Koons, and he said send a build, and they would send a price. In the mean time, original salesman called to see what was up, and I told him that option was a must, and I would reorder. He said he found out the option was not available, it would be late availability. Then Koons responded, saying it was unavailable also. I will wait until it is available, then reorder. I'm not in a big rush, I would rather wait until I can get exactly what I want. If anyone in the plant actually reads my long drawn out story, what do you know about trailer view availability?

you could take your truck and buy the system after, maybe the system kit is available (mopar dealer that has it stock)even tho the option is not through ordering

The problem is, I can't find anyone that knows anything about the system. The only thing I found anywhere, is one sentence in the owners manual, that says plug in 12 pin connector. There is no pictures of connector. No youtubes of truck section, except an auto show video, one guy mentions it's on that show truck. Unless I find out for sure, that I can just plug in an accessory harness to my existing harness, and update software, I will wait, and order when available.

Have your salesman check on dealer connect. it shows where it is and when it moves in each leg of transport. It is more current than pizza tracker, due to the fact it's tracking thousands of vehicles. This was mine a couple weeks ago. I had salesman check and send me screenshot.

Everything about the system is vague. From what I understand, that system has a harness, for the trailer, and the plug in the right side of the box mounts to the trailer. Then there is a harness that goes between that plug and truck plug. I wish I could find someone who knows about the system. I may have to drive to the tech center and find an engineer. lol.

heres the part number for the trailer kit, dont know if it will be of any use

some say (not confirm) id you have the truck 360 cam system you should have the plug in the back of your truck) but you said it wasent there so i guess you didnt have that optio

Did he actually show you the current location they can get? If it is stalled, it won"t show why, but it shows where it's current location is, and the time it leaves and arrives each location.
