I've dealt with Zeigler for 8+ years now, between the FORD and MOPAR side. $50 or even $100 over cost is not a "high profit ratio" at all.

Absolutely, I highlighted that Granger and Zeigler are just charging barely above costs compared to most local dealerships and even Mopar direct. Usually it's closer to $1,000 over their costs, most others have a high profit ratio in comparison.

We are fortunate to have online sellers (that are actually Dodge/Jeep/Ram dealers) that can sell us these plans at such great prices!

Has anyone had the pleasure of getting a quote on a truck outside of the original B2B 3/36 warranty? My truck has 47900 on it and still under the factory powertrain warranty and would like to use a Mopar warranty, but I'm striking out with all the suggestions mentioned here. Note: my truck does have a Readylift SST lift on it, and I am not expecting to have that covered, as it's covered under the part manufacturer warranty. My biggest want in a warranty is for the main systems in the truck, (electrical, engine/trans, front/rear end) basically anything outside of the normal suspension components.
Also, I did receive a quote from Endurance LLC that would still cover everything outside of the lift, and they are supposedly accepted by Ram/Mopar for repair coverage. The quote was around $3400 for a 5yr/125k pay in full. (Scratch that. Just got a call from Endurance, LLC that it is now $4400 for the pay in full or $144/mo for 30 mo. Went up $1000 in 12 days lol)

Any other leads would be appreciated!

Any vehicle outside of the 3/36 factory warranty, from MOPAR, would need to have a VEHICLE INSPECTION FORM filled out by an FCA dealer (and paid for by the individual).

LIFTS of any kind (especially a third party) automatically EXCLUDES this vehicle (out of warranty) from purchasing a Vehicle Protection Plan.

Looks like Endurance is an option, MOPAR is NOT! :-\

Unfortunately, that is what I am finding out the hard way. I was able to get another quote from Carchex that will cover the lift for an additional surcharge, and all in total would be around $3200, so that may be my best and only option. Thanks for the reply and all the info!

PS. Ziegler did call me back this morning and informed me of this as well. I've even thought about taking the lift off for now (just a 3.5 SST Readylift spacer lift), but then I would still lift it again down the road, or at least level it out again.

I had already asked Bob Cline @ Zeigler, so that is where my answer came from.

I am leasing right now but may buy this truck. If I would like to get an extended warranty after 3 years and I will be at 45k miles, will I still have these great deals?

Prices increase ever 12months/12000 miles. After three years and 36000 miles you CAN still get an ESP, but you will have to get the vehicle inspected, and the rates are for "used".

I just bought the 8 year 60,000 mile Mopar max extended plan from Grainger, they beat Ziegler's price by $50.00.

Just easier to order the plan online without emailing Grainger for quotes and having to call. just paying online with Zeigler is more convenient and it's done, and you have the contract as soon as you buy it. Zeigler having a website for ecommerce is just easier in my opinion.

Has anyone priced extended warranty plans out with Ziegler or Granger recently? I just got a quote from Ziegler for a 2023 1500 Limited (Diesel) 4x4 - Max Care 8 year/100k with $100 ded. for $3730. Seems high. Have these plans increased significantly in cost? Looking at emailing Granger for a quote as well.

That seems like standard dealership prices.

I got mine a few months ago, 7 year/60K with 100 Deduct for $970

My miles are low because I only average about 4,500 miles a year on my truck, but I remember looking at the 100K plan it was around $1500 to maybe $1700 at the time? I did my deal with Granger.

Yeah that’s what I thought when I saw the quote (dealership price) but I used their website and all seems legit. Guess I’ll send Granger an email and see how they compare.

Yeah, unless they changed something, you should be able to get a huge discount.

Not sure where you got those #'s from. I just did a quick quote from the ZEIGLER site, and I came up with $$2430.00 for the same quote.
I have a hard time believing that ZEIGLER quoted you $3730.

Buy it online for $2430 using the promo code "PAYINFULL" at checkout.

Who did you speak to @ Zeigler?
