June Uconnect Update

Just a heads up. Got the update to the Uconnect this morning. I now have performance pages as well as offroad pages on the 12inch display. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up..

I have a section where it connects to wifi but nothing ever happens.

I got the Update to also but no extra pages but lost my Sirius radio, resent signal from Sirius but no radio.

I don’t think I can get OTA updated on my 8.4. Does anyone know if there is an update? The Uconnect website always says I’m up to date. How does it know?

It doesn't know.
The only update I have gotten was via the firmware files a forum member here gave me.
As far as I know i'm not allowed to receive updates on my brand new truck even with all those fancy paid subscriptions.

I messaged him but he said he isn't ready to release the files for the next update yet so I guess most of us are just stuck until someone who probably works as a dealership shares files with someone and myself or someone else can share them out.

Really *** backwards way to distribute firmware (software) updates if you ask me

I did nothing, update stared on its own and restarted the radio and no Sirius radio anymore and no Exter pages for me and i do not have a Alfadb

You 100% will not get extra pages then.
The extra pages people talk about only come on a TRX, GT package, and some Rebels.
We enabled them via an odb2 programmer to show up on the radios.

In general it's good to factory reset these radios after every update, and in my case about every 3-4 weeks of regular usage

The more I look at the website the more it confirm's it's not even for UC5.

Look around on the website and you will see all the pictures and information are for UC4.

If you go to the "map store" the 22 trucks arent even offered only the 21s which have UC4 and there are no UC5 updates.

I don't think that website as a SINGLE UC5 update on it, it only redirects you to the sales website for Ram to see anything about UC5.
