What did I do. No what did the wife do. Drove into yellow paint. She didn’t even know till I was like…… it’s thick in the tire. Like a puddle of paint. Mud flaps covered. Side step cover. Getting off the side steps gonna be fun. They are very rough texture. Time to buy her a new car. So she leaves my truck Alone.

I'd be out shopping for cleaning gloves that fit her pretty little hands.....not a new car.

We have a 2018 2500 Laramie that's the best rig I have ever owned but needed another rig with good ground clearance for the snow we get here in the winter. Living a mile and a half off road allows us to have some exciting times. Our Pilot doesn't have sufficient clearance so we have decided to be a two Ram family; one for Mom and one for me.

I have researched many things on here and elsewhere without concrete solutions. We'd like to have the front end leveled but I have read numerous negatives on that; two mechanic shops in my podunk town won't even touch it. As I understand for reading here, the Bilstein 5100 is the best way to do the lift. Has anyone that has gone that route experienced any issues; front end alignments necessary, drop in mileage, excessive wear on ball joints and CV joints?

Because our road is dirt and rock, we'll need mud flaps. I am leaning towards the Gatorbacks as I believe they will keep the most debris off the truck. Big Blue has the Husky's but our running boards are continually covered with snow, mud etc.

Which seat covers do you find best keeping dog hair off? We have Carhart covers on Big Blue but they are wearing quite a bit on the door side. I will take out the back seat and build a platform for the 4 legged kids (padded of course) so no seat cover required for the back.

Hydro Blue Pearl Big Horn, V-6, quad cab, 3.55 LS, Alpine, Level 2, rear wheel well liner, trailer brake, bed utility group, and protection group.

Known items needed: Michelin Defenders, running boards (thinking of getting the Mopar Aluminum ones), mud flaps, vinyl film protection for front, door handles, A-pillars, seat covers, sill protectors, tonneau cover and maybe a bed rug for the old man's knees.

No issues so far in my truck with the Bilstiens. You will need a front end alignment after they are installed.

Installed the Pulsar that I removed from my '20. I have an update cable coming, but I couldn't wait any longer It's great having a peppy truck again, but the "MDS OFF" option isn't working, hopefully the update will take care of that.

Yes, I love my Pulsar. I have the update cable. I'm disappointed that for the cost of this they couldn't include the cable.

Seems like they should. Then again, I installed the Pulsar brand new in my old Ram, never updated it then, and everything worked perfectly, so I wouldn't have used the cable at that time

Another YouTube expert painting all spacer kits with a broad brush. We know nothing about the kit he installed or his skill level with the install. The spacers on my ReadyLift kit look nothing like those. It's funny that he blames the top hat spacers for potential wear on the upper ball joints, yet he's going to install Bilsteins without changing his upper control arms.

Installed a set of Amazon mud guards yesterday. Husky knockoffs (Tecoom). Not bad for the price, and I wont feel bad if I am forced to replace them should I install my set of ebay/OEM Laramie flares down the road. With the wider tires, and recently added 3/8" BORA Spacers, the side of my truck is getting it

Only had them in 9 months. Also replaced.my UCAs. As far as leveling the front, that all depends on which setting you use. Can be anything from stock height up to 3" lift for front

I returned a set of huskies the other day because they didn't fit (even though Amazon said they would). Would you recommend these?

I really want to install a set as I plan to be off the pavement quite often in the summer.

The 5100's will give a non ORP truck up to 2.6 inches of front lift. If you have a ORP equipped truck, it will give you up to 2 inches of front lift.
I kept mine at ring 4, which gave me about 1.5 inches of lift and retained some rake. When installed correctly, you should have no issues. In fact, there are some that have added spacers with the Bilsteins and have gotten excellent results. But you will be looking at new UCA's, probably changes to the rear so you're not nose high, etc. Something I may do later down the road. Or just go full on kit when time to change shocks

There are two versions of the Husky ones. Gotta make sure you get the one that work with your truck. Don't rely on Amazon to have it right. Either withz or without fender flares.

For sure! I triple checked that it was w/o fender the whole way (I ain't got no fenders). Maybe they sent the wrong one after all but I know I ordered correctly and what I got did not fit.

Installed my Aero 3030XL direct fit muffler today. It took about 20 minutes and even though it sounds better I wish I would have went with Borla touring cat back instead. It always pays to go cat back for the best sound IMO, but I wanted to save money.

Just curious on how the Husky's didn't fit? These were a direct fit, but needed a bit of "massaging" to close any gapping between the oem trim pieces and the indented areas of the flap that sits against the oem trim. Other than that, they bolted right in.
For the price and build quality, yes, I would recommend. How they will hold up being thrashed on the trail, that remains to be seen.
But for 43 bucks plus tax, not a bad purchase.
