My truck hit the lot today! Sadly won't be able to pick her up before Friday.
Trying to get the dealer to play ball a bit on the price but they are really not offering much off below MSRP and won't honor affiliate pricing.

Tempting to suck it up and walk away if they won't come down

I walked from a factory order where the dealership wouldn’t honor factory rebates up front back in February

Went to a different dealer and will just try it again. I hope rebates will be even better next month when my truck drops.

They are honoring rebates at least and would drop $1k from sticker before factory rebates.

I don't understand not having the price negotiated before you ordered the truck....

some just will not do it.
That means it is time to move on to the next dealer - there is not a shortage of dealers. To wait all this time for your truck to come in only to have to start the process all over again because of the dealer having the upper hand and not having to lower the price is just madness

Interested to hear how it goes. That gives me hope for negotiating when mine gets delivered. I’m not real happy with the deal I got and considering how things have changed a bit with increased inventory I may have some leverage now compared to a few months ago. Obviously I won’t walk away from my order but not gonna tell them that. 😉

You get your money back but you are now 8, 10, 12 weeks or more into the process and you have to start all over again....

I see you're in NJ and have a truck on order. Mind me asking how far below MSRP you were successful at pre-negotiating? In NJ as well (northern, Morris county)

I am in Warren county. I made my deal at $1200 under invoice plus whatever incentives I choose to take - not sure if I will finance at 0% or take the rebates and pay cash. I made my deal at a Somerset county dealership that advertises factory orders at invoice price. They have a high doc fee - $549, so because of that, and talking to them about Mark Dodge and Koons' factory order programs, I got them to $1,200 below invoice. I was pleased with that number because I would have ended up spending at least $1,500 (between travel, food, and hotels) going down to Mark Dodge to pick a truck up and drive home. And WAY more $$$$$ if i drove home through Kentucky...... I love bourbon

Good to know, which dealership? Trying to surround Franklin/Sussex with the mindset that I can do way better even close to home.

I did just that.....after waiting 9 weeks, my truck showed up.....dealer tried to extort me for $15k.. ..took my deposit back....and walked away. Went to another dealer that afternoon, got the deal i wanted, placed the order....9 weeks later keys in hand. Totally worth it.

Wow! Two trucks in 18 weeks!😲

I’ll be glad if I get one in that timeframe.

It seems pretty random which trucks are being built and when they can be expected. It looks like Long Horn and Limited are getting quicker turnaround times.

Makes it very difficult for me to predict what deals I can get and when I need to plan a road trip. I only have a 7-day window to get everything in order.

By the way, right now FCA is doing 0% financing on my model (CC Laramie), but that offer ends 5/2 and who knows what offers they're running when my truck actually comes in. How can I solidify any deals or financing incentives when I have no idea when my truck will be delivered???
