So I didn’t do anything to her today, but Mother Nature decided to shove it str8 up me beautiful brand new truck’s butthole with the biggest hailstorm I’ve seen in a while. And of course whilst I’m nowhere near my garage.

Right outta the goddamn blue on a partly cloudy day. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thank god the hood is fiberglass because my roof looks like hammer finished metal now. Can’t get any good pics of it but you can feel it.

Haha it sounded like it should have but that glass is SPOSTA be tempered so it doesn’t murder the occupants in an accident.

Dried off the roof. It’s actually not THAT bad. No chips, not actual “dents” just that rippled look. Can’t get a good pic of it, which also makes me think I got lucky as I have had hail damage before, and it was like legit divots, some that actually broke paint. For what it looked like I got off light.

Picked up this RamBar today for $650cdn ($500usd) , guy purchased new for $1200cdn to try on his DS but the top rails get wider on his box so it wouldn't work. I told myself if I could get the bar for a decent price I'm gonna get one, cause no way I was gonna pay $1000+ for a rollbar.

Anyhow as long as the weather cooperates tomorrow I'll be installing this and hopefully also get my Bakflip Mx4 back on.

picked it up today from the dealership for the 5th time in 5 months for miss fire. They assure me they got it this time. I have little faith because they just keep replacing the same crap.
Also, while getting a light winter mix cleaned the wheels and added the red accent fuel caps.

How did you get average mpg in that area? Maybe I just haven't sat down and messed with the setup long enough, I have a battery gauge there.

I have mine set to have current MPG there. It's more informative than average

Couple few things today. Started out by picking up a Mopar extendable bed step from a local guy and installed. Pretty easy install hardest part was getting the connector apart to reroute the harness through the step.

What did I do to my RAM today? Brought it to the dealer for a check engine light...improper ratio. They can't get it in until Wed. The CEL was reset.

That was their words. They told me it could be an issue between the engine and transmission...maybe a speed sensor? When I started driving the RPMs stayed up and it wasn't shifting. I turned the truck off and back on and it started working again but the CEL was still there. I have no clue what the code was, just what they told me, I'll find out more on Wed hopefully. They didn't have any techs on Saturdays.
