Welp... it looks like I have evidently set out to help ruin the 22.9 day WS to DL average for MA. 😒 I'm at 29 days since WS and she still has no ride to the dealer. (Only 8 days since she hit MA, but has been just sitting there being not enjoyed.)

I feel like this is the worst part of the wait... like when you're waiting for it to get sequenced, its a little mysterious, but you know things are happening in front of it to get it on the line, then from D1 to BS, things are actually happening for the most part. Then from BS to WS you can still pretend things are happening, haha but once you get that WS, man... it doesn't mater if its 5 days or 50 days, you KNOW nothing is happening, and its just sitting there being shat upon by birds... this would all obviously be worse if I also had the wait a lotta peeps had before it actually goes into production, but I think either way, this part is the most frustrating... because you can't finish the deal til its here, and it's here, but it's still not here. and literally NO ONE can tell you wtf is going on at the VDC, not even the dealer it seems. At least not mine, and he has been good about it, he gives me a screen shot of his dealer connect page every time I ask.

Low key i feel like calling the VDC and saying I'm from the dealer and asking when the next shipment is coming because we're rearranging the lot and we need to know.... which i am sure would not work, hahahaha, but this is where the mind goes. to top it off, my wife just ordered her new Jeep WL 2-row.... another model plagued with delays... and their forums don't have ANYONE like @triple_B and @Eighty so this... will be "fun."
I feel your:rolleyes: pain!

Received word that my truck is now at Port Allen, unloaded from the train and waiting transport to the dealer. It's getting close now. Not a moment too soon either. Just got word that for the first time in my life, I was selected for jury duty. I'm hoping the truck gets to MD before the 21st. If not, I'll be waiting an extra week to get it.

Time to throw some speculation….

we have all had price increases due to parts shortages and chip shortages and just general demand over supply.

however now with gas prices through the roof…and these trucks not being kind on consumption….should we start to see price decreases on our ordered trucks as the Ram might fear we buyers will drop our orders?

Given that they can't currently keep up with the demand, I'd be surprised if they slash prices to keep people ordering. In fact, I expect to see more price increases (due to the increased cost of fuel, if nothing else).

yeah i definitely also doubt they'd be even close to budging until at least the used market starts to decline.

For those complaining about the time of the truck builds, and I’m not saying this to upset anyone but I’m being honest - if you decide to drop the build and go with another truck manufacturer, you will wait 6 to 8 months minimum from today. You can barely find the used vehicle you want and for a less price - many of us have searched the entire country. I could barely even find a Ford or GM truck to test drive. Fuel prices fluctuate - if that is really a concern then get a diesel. 1st world problems. 🤘🏽

Awesome! Been following this site religously since placing my order 2/24. Thank you for the update!
Look... I just wanna know where being an EMT pays you so well you're buying a tricked out bighorn ;) Thought you'd have to be at least a medic for this truck! HA! (just playing dude)

Haha, actually EMT are my initials, though I did recently get a nice promotion in the medical lab that I work in.

If it helps, I'm destroying the average for BS to WS for AZ, as I'm going on 36ish days. Sadly the dealer said they don't show an ETA, and ramcare, ramchat and that other number don't know why my truck is just sitting in inspection for that long.

I'm trying to be patient, but seriously..... what is taking so long?!?! I'm wondering if it's because I ordered from a smaller dealership. Tempted to order from MD, and then blackout of the current one.

Idk, at this point I'm open to any suggestions or recommendations. Oh, and had my case escalate 3x now at ram, and they have yet to get back to me with any updates.
