Another dumb question..

WHEN eventually my truck is in window sticker... will the board software show me the alert that my username has been mentioned by one of the dedicated posters on here?

I keep having hope, thinking that end of January is a good guess. (looking at the majority on the graph) but here we are... no hope in site with a 214158 serial number.

Thanks. I've done the ram chat thing a couple of times, every couple of weeks. But any additional insight into what success is supposed to look like? :)

Thanks
Have a good weekend.

@Jpiper11 let’s test it out. Did you get notification of this post?

Our vin’s are very close. Mine is 214132. I received a WS on 12/19 but it has been sitting in a storage lot since 12/20 waiting to ship. Every step of the process seems to be so random. Each status update is just another ”hurry up and wait” status.

Thanks! My POC lists the ESD as “2022-01-09 2:00 AM”. Does the time mean anything?
Most of the ESD’s I’ve seen have a time stamp of 2:00am or a few minutes earlier. So I don’t think it’s an actual estimated time.

I figured, just don’t remember seeing info on that before. Thanks!

After 4 months, it’s finally feeling real, lol.

Speaking of times, I have a random question. I pulled and printed my WS as soon as it was available. It had a build date of 12/27 0 shift. Looked at it again just now, and the newest one has a build date of 12/31 3rd shift. What would cause that?

Hmm, that’s strange. Especially considering that your window sticker was published on 12/28. So they revised it at some point a few days after publication.

I went over both of them, I didn't see any other changes. Those are about the dates it went into and out of the body vender. Wonder if that has anything to do with it?

Where did you get the information about those dates corresponding to body vendor in/out dates? The reason I ask is that the common understanding is that a window sticker is only published after final inspection and release from the factory. So if it was published on 12/28, but still in the body vendor until 12/31, then that would be really strange.

I don't specifically remember, they either came from Ram Chat or my dealer. Dealer has been pretty good with giving me the status codes, and I cross reference them with the table I found here. I remember Veneno and I got our BS the same day. He got his WS the next day, but mine wasn't available until 6 days later. We have nearly identical trucks, and our VIN's are only a couple hundred apart.

Seeing yours and Mad Cow’s post today…

I’m glad that I’m not the only one that pulls up the link to my WS from time to time and stare at it like Clark Griswald looking at an imaginary pool in the back yard.

That truck really needs to get out of storage and making its way towards being in my driveway.

@Jpiper11 @SC_Ram_Guy

All our VIN's are close. Mine is 214148 and as of yesterday I had made it to paint, so hoping for a BS and WS this week. Hopefully not sitting in storage long.

I was prepared to be disappointed and FCA didnt let me down. Looks like my build date of Friday Jan 07 2022 for Rebel NN100517 has come and gone and no bloody truck to show for it.

If your truck was built on Friday, you won't see a build sheet until Monday morning. As they don't upload the build sheets over the weekend. They still do Window stickers every nigh however.

thanks for that, what is a link for window stickers??
tripleB does Window Sticker updates every night at around 9:30pm CST and does build sheets every morning around 9:30am CST.

If you want to manually lookup your build sheet on a weekday you can use this link https://fcacommunity.force.com/RAM/s/equipment-listing

If you want to manually lookup your Window sticker you can use this link (You will have to input your VIN after the =): https://www.ramtrucks.com/hostd/windowsticker/getWindowStickerPdf.do?vin=

Do note, it does take a while for the manual lookup site to get your window sticker. tripleB is able to get it much sooner than the manual lookup website. - I don't know how long it takes to populate there, I just know the day tripleB was able to provide me the WS I wasn't able to view it on that website.
