WTF. Just got off the most aggravating call. My dealer just called me to tell me my truck won’t be scheduled for build until Jan 24!! RamCare told me two days ago that it’s been in production since Oct 28. The GM from the dealership is the one who called me. Says he got the info from the mid Atlantic regional manager. I’m so fed up. I have no recourse. If I drop my order and put in a new order or if I get one from the dealer lot I’ll pay more. I got a pretty good deal on my truck. This is bulls**** treatment from Ram. I know other guys in the same boat as me.
could be something went wrong with the build and in order to give you what you want it will take until then to get all the new parts

So I have a question, maybe this has been asked before dont know. Everybody was assuming this and the other about why they are not building certain trucks. My question is could it be the standard hemi motor? Alot of the trucks I am seeing being built are e torques, Triple_B, Eighty anybody thoughts ?
Hard to say. Today's build sheets have 351 matches to "eTorque", with the rest being "not eTorque". We know the Turbo Diesels don't have it (101 of them), and we know the TRX's don't have it (75 of them). So between the V6's and the Hemi's, there were 708 trucks produced today without eTorque.

i was under the impression 50 and hour was their goal

this makes 51 an hour
Not sure where you got 50/hour. Their published daily target is 1,435/day.

Edit: Here's a sample. Mon-Thu is usually 1,435/day (Fridays and weekends are usually less).

I went to the dealership last Tuesday and ordered one. They submitted it yesterday and I got the VON today. I was not able to get the premium light group though. A little annoyed by this because my wife will be driving at home for work and 2:00 in the morning. The LED lights would be nice for her to keep an eye on the deer and drunk drivers and drink deer.

Maybe that's why. Premium lighting is a deal breaker for me. I know how difficult and pricey it is to upgrade afterwards.

Any estimations on how the holidays slow production down? How many days are there with no production or limited production around thanksgiving and Christmas?

That was my issue when trying to order a Big Horn. I moved up to the Laramie to get LED lighting and BSM.

Well, I just got an update from my dealer. The TRX is still sitting in a rail yard near Detroit (waiting to ship to Nashville). And my NEW Rebel order just popped D1 (it's a 215xxx VIN - don't get pissed!). So now I'm back to having to make a decision again. If the TRX arrives in a week - and the Rebel is going to be built a week after that - do I take the TRX? For a little while? Or do I keep renting a car and wait/hope that the Rebel is built on time and delivered quickly?
Keep both. One for a spare. Alternate days you drive them.

Ok thanks just had a thought 🙂

I've been communicating with Alexey at AlfaOBD over the last few days. At present he doesn't have enough information to start working on how to configure his program to replicate the XN1 option. Has anyone on the Forum actually taken possession of their XN1 equipped truck as yet?
I have my truck with XN1. Have not tried to hook anything up as I don't have a trailer to install the cams on yet.

Except clearly they have parts as they’re building out tons of trucks. Just not mine. So fed up with Ram. Something I was really looking forward to and excited about has now turned into complete and utter dismay. The only reason why I haven’t dumped this whole thing is the deal I got. Although May be worth walking away and buying a year from now. This wasn’t a need for me.

You and I have similar builds, and very similar VINs (we ordered the same day). TRX business aside, my dealer agreed to reorder my Rebel for the same discount off of MSRP and it appears to be working out now as it is in D1 already. Think your dealer would do the same?
Just keep in mind that the MSRP went up by $4k since May.
