Does anyone knoe if the MaxTrac 2" rear lowering level kit drops a true 2" ?
I just measured my front and rear and Im only off by about an inch and a half, maybe 5/8.
Im gonna be real mad if I end up lower in the back. I hate that look!
I read where some guys had to cut the coils to get true level. But is that consistent? What was the starting measurement?
Thanks for any help!

It’s not lower in the back. I had them on for a month or so before I went the opposite direction and installed a lift kit. I didn’t cut any coils either.

Mine is about .25in higher in the back. Which is ok so it’s not really squatting when I put anything in the bed

I would be ok with .25 or less. I just dont want to be lower in the back than the front.

Whats a "reverse level"
Reverse level is leaving the front stock and lowering the back 2 inches to get rid of the rake

I’m referring to the 2 inch rear drop springs that you mentioned in your original post that you were worried would be lower in the rear.

have you done any research yet?

Ive only dug around here on the forum a little. Unless Im missing something, if the springs lower the rear by 2" , Im going to be sitting a half in too low in the back. So I was checking to see what everyone elses experience was.

I've had them on my truck since 1700 miles, I'm at over 27K now with no issues and it's not 100% completely a 2" drop. Mine still has about 1/2" rake. Meaning the drop was only about 1.5" for me.

I had the Maxtrac springs for a while and can confirm that there is still 0.5" of rake and ride feels the same. You won't end up in Carolina squat

Finished this up today and it turned out great. Theres about a 3/8" difference gap in the rear wheel well than the front (measuring from the top of the tire to the edge if the fender.) Im happy. I read they could possibly settle some too. Thank you your help!

Mine was a little higher in the rear as well. I'll see if I can find a picture.
