So guys, I am having this struggle with myself what to do.
I just love my 2020 RAM Limited, fully loaded, all black, just looking awesome and drives as many of you know, like a dream :)
I would sure like to grow old with this truck, but we all know that time to time you need to get a new one..

So what is your take on my problem?

Let me fill you in, I drive a_lot_, my 2020 is currently at 80 000km, that's is about 50 000 miles, that is within 1.5 years of ownership.
I never go offroad, I just haul trailers and goods, driving between worksites, mostly highway..

So the TRX initially does not make any sense right?
But I keep thinking about that 6.2 SC Hemi, like most other ppl..

Should I stick with the Limited (awesome) truck or should I go for the Beast?
Bare in mind I live in Europe, so the Limited here is just shy of 100 000 with taxes, the TRX is about 160 000.., so no cheap deals over here.

I just can't make up my mind..., tbh I am a little scared of the MPG (l/km), this past year I spent almost $8000 on petrol, and I guess this will go up about 50% with the 6.2..

Stick w/ the Limited ... it suits your needs better ... l'm torn as well owning a 21' Limited ... l have a 22' Limited 10th Ann. coming in as well as a 22' Trx ... l'm leaning on keeping the Limited ...

The TRX is a bad a$$ truck but I just don't see it being a practical "driver". As many miles as you drive I would stick with what you have. If you were looking for a fun weekend truck to drive I'd say the TRX.

Agreed keep your limited normally I would scream get the TRX if you could afford it but with the mileage you put on your truck in short time frame I think that would be a bad idea.

I too have a 2020 limited, thinking about a trx. My job just "officially" declared for us to work from home, after over a year. My limited only has 6000 miles.

Just my opinion so take it for what it’s worth: keep your limited and look to the future for that RAM electric truck. I have a feeling gas wars are coming in the next few years as the pressure to convert to electric increases, and it will hit the EU pretty hard. You could always supercharge your limited if you really feel that need for speed.

I'm in the same boat! I have a 2019 Rebel with 52,000 miles and love the truck. Love the Ram boxes and air ride suspension for towing. I really don't want to get rid of it. But I keep looking at the TRX, I want that damn supercharged hemi! I wish RAM would offer that motor in the other truck lines as an option.
Either buy a 2022 TRX or start ripping into my motor and supercharge it too? I don't know which way to go.

Bah! Ignore them. They're all being "sensical". Anyone even considering a TRX does not fit into that category! ;)

The TRX will be a unique, high-performance, eye-catching vehicle, especially in Europe. And, unlike a Lambo, it can be useful while going places.

Plus, you will literally be able to look down upon all your fellow motorists. :)

Buy the TRX and post pics around iconic European destinations.

Ahh, i might just have to sit down in the boat for a while and see if that clears my head, the other day i was just about to go order a TRX, and the other day i am thinking, ”-nah, i love the limited, and iˋll just keep on trucking”

Anyhow, i need to order a new truck this spring, i will let you know what that will be..

Just one thing, i think the TRX is probably the last of itˋs kind, one should grab the chance to ever drive such a (awsome) vehicle? No matter the cost? Just because?
They will probably soon be banned all over earth?

I had the same thoughts about the TRX after ordering my Rebel. Really wanted a TRX but it’s just not a practical truck. So I stuck with the Rebel.
Long story, the Rebel may never get built (or if it does, it will probably be a while) - so I’m going with an incoming TRX. It’s already built and on the way and I should be driving it before Thanksgiving. I plan to enjoy the crap out of it and downgrade when the Rebel comes in.

If your heart strings are pulling you towards a TRX, give it a shot. It’s not a permanent decision…you can always trade out later.

Your limited is a much better choice for your usage. Rent a TRX or raptor for a week or two. That’ll scratch your itch. You’d most likely tire of the trx after a couple months and want the limited back.

Keep your Limited and put a deposit down on a Rivian R1T if you can in Europe. Fully loaded R1T with 21” rims is about $87K here in the US, which similar in price to a fully loaded TRX and goes 0-60 in 3.1 seconds with an estimated 400+ mile range and is a pretty capable off road vehicle.

Problem is, it looks like a Ford Ranger had a baby with a Prius. Not exactly equivalent to a TRX...

I believe your fuel costs were double. You will have to run 93 and probably get 10 mpg.

I have decided to have a look at a new Limited after all, I asked the local dealership to give me an offer to trade in my 2020 to a 2022, so I shall see where that lands..
99.99% of my driving is on paved roads, and maybe 30% of the time with a trailer hitched up, the TRX is just not for me.
But if RAM shoved down a 600hp 6.2 in the Limited, I know I would be interested :)

I am currently averaging 11.4 on the TRX. And yes, 93-octane.
