Need to buy some touch up paint anyway for the inevitable rock chip, so, may as well go the Lowes plug route and paint them myself. Feels good to do it yourself anyway. Just my $.02...

I put a light bar using a license plate bracket then I put the license plate back on. Excellent place with the holes already drilled to put a light. Bracket is made by smittybilt and american truckers ( I believe) is where I found it.

I bought a bag of 100 black plastic plugs that you can leave black, or color match with a rattle can …. I paid $4 for the whole bag …. Lol …. PM me your address, and I’ll send ya 4 of them

I literally did the same thing. Was at Home Depot, they were in front of me, and super cheap. Had some to spare for my new truck as well. Now to figure out what to do with the other 92:LOL:

I bought the painted ones...and love 'em. My money, my choice. ;)
It sure is.
Just because some people (myself included) don't want to spend the money on it doesn't mean you shouldn't. To each their own. That's the beauty if forums like this, you get options. A cheap version, a DIY version and a fancy version.

I needed to get home to access my pictures. A very simple solution if you desire a light bar for your truck. Here is the license plate front bracket light bar that I put on my Ram. The bracket is SOLID. I put 2 5/16 stainless bolts thru everything to hold the bracket, license plate frame and the light.
I already caught a buck standing by the road. I slowed down to give him a chance to clear my path.

Do these really come with every truck?

I see a sales code MDA for a Front License Plate Bracket, I would assume the holes would only be in the bumper if that code was used?
