Yeah it kinda sucks to see it happening. When I search on the Ram Trucks site and search there are over 2800 2022 Ram 1500s available with in 250 mile of me (Ohio). A percentage of these are in transit, but still.

I even considered getting a diesel on a lot that was a close build to mine, but Ive never had a deisel, and of course it’s about 6k more than what I ordered. It’s a Big Horn with all the extra tech on the lot. (Parts shortages?) I’m still not seeing Back Country packages near me.

Im sure they are just prepping the lots for Black Friday and End of year sales before they get to us.

8/16 Order 152 vin and waiting. Have a good Sunday everybody!
Backcountry 8/3 order here, not much hope. Last I saw under 200 backcountries built, and only 34 big horns with air suspension which I'd guess none are backcountries.

I went to the dealer and saw the truck. It's not the truck I have been tracking or that I ordered. It is the same though. All the options I wanted and the color and wheels. The dealer had ordered one exactly the same and it came in first so I had the option of taking this one or waiting. The dealer said that even when the other truck gets to the dealership they probably will have to hold it because it has the "engine part problem" So I made a deal on the truck I got $4800 off the sticker, Cheap financing and they down priced the extended warranty and are throwing the ceramic paint coating in for %50 off. So I think I am going to be happy the new VIN is 1C6SRFHT9NN102768.

That's why I just purchased a 2021 yesterday. Keeping my back county order but I can't go another 3 to 4 months without a truck. I pick the 21 up tomorrow and will sell it when my 22 comes in.

Awesome. Thanks.
I noticed that the MSRP on the Limited Level 1 group went up $300 and the Destination charge went up $100. I wonder what that means for my final selling price

If you're not price locked then you'll go up $400 at least.

I think the Limited 1 went up when they added stuff from the tech group. Trying to add the Limited 1 group will make my MSRP go up $4775 from my original price locked order.

Did you originally order the Tech Group? Those items were combined with the LL1 as well later on. My original POC had them separate when I ordered back in July but on my WS they have been combined into the "new version" of LL1 which includes the HUD, DRVM, and LED CHMSL in addition to the ASG components which have been part of LL1 for a while.

I didn't order the Tech Group as it wasn't an option when I ordered in Sep.

Guess I will see what happens when I go to pick it up. Weird part is the sticker is higher than if you build it online at the RAM site

When you did order, were the Tech Group options shown as standard in your LL1 Pkg? I believe they may have been by that time.

The ramtrucks.com website isn't completely up-to-date especially with the B&P tool. I'm not able to "build" my exact truck either even today. 2022 builds are going to be very interesting a few years down the road on resale values especially if features were left out on a particular build. I genuinely feel sorry for a lot of you out there that are receiving trunicated builds.

I consider myself damn lucky to be getting a 100% complete (built exactly as ordered with all package components complete) truck. It was dicey for a little while on my Trailer Tow Package potentially leaving off the Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring which I really wanted for pulling a travel trailer........

I just noticed playing with the filtering and sorting on the tracking spreadsheet @triple_B has graciously created for us that currently I'm the only EcoDiesel, the only Limited, and the only Billet Silver non-TRX going to Iowa. I don't know whether to feel unique in a good way or bad way. 🤣🤣🤣

Well I assume that, since you're talking about using triple_B's google doc, you're comparing just to the member builds. I just searched all 46,287 build sheets, and guess what...you're still the only Billet Silver Limited EcoDiesel that's been built for Iowa.

Looking at the build sheet and the windows sticker everything appears to be there. The only difference is a $300 increase in the Limited Level 1 cost and and $100 increase in destinat fees.

I just feel lucky to have ordered at the beginning of Sep and already have a window sticker

Yes, I was referring to what was on his spreadsheet. That's CRAZY I'm still the only one out of ALL trucks built so far. I hope that's not a bad thing come trade in time later on......

Edit: On his spreadsheet I was the only one with ANY of those options....not just in combination. I'm curious if there are any other trucks with any of those options....I'm guessing there should be some EcoDiesels at least? Limiteds?

As your mother probably said repeatedly, you’re a very “special” person.

That surely is more expensive than a loaded sport…
