Start of 2022 Production.

I'm starting to be a huge pain in my dealers *** but they also made the mistake of saying take a pick of one in the lot. So a loaded limited comes in. I'll take that one thank you but your payments will go up 130 a month. Magically they say my truck just went to D1

Well, I myself am pursuing another truck I found on the lot. Hopefully my dealer can get it and this insane experience is over for me. I am utterly baffled at the lack of communication from RAM. We all spend boat loads of cash on their product and we cant even be told any answers. For me, the whole "paid orders take priority" lie did it for me.
Ill keep you posted and will post pics of the truck if it works out. I should know by end of day.
Same here... (See signature.) Will end up costing me some 15% more, however would have spent at least that much on ulcer meds. And, I'll have a better truck.

Timeline info on my truck order:
VIN 122803
Ordered 7/17
VIN 7/28 or sooner
D1 on or before 10/18 (all parts gathered waiting for build to begin per Ram Chat, dealer said that build would be on 10/25, and they were right)
Build Sheet 10/25
Out for bed liner 10/28
Ram Chat says it is in transit 11/1-- estimated delivery 11/4 to 11/19 to Lake Charles

I didn't ask for updates consistently, so I'm not sure exactly when the truck entered certain stages.
Hope this helps the number crunching a little!

Must be nice, my truck was built a week before hand and its stuck in JB apparently for running boards. Totally ruined our travel plans to pick it up.

Wow 231 TRX's. Way more than the other models.

Hopefully picking up my truck this afternoon. Been waiting at the depo a week for a load of vehicles for the 10mile drive to the dealership.

I'm really tempted to just swap to the TRX Mark Dodge has incoming.

Mine is also at the depot. It has a 35 mile trip to the dealership. Needless to say i'm keeping the phone handy. Still planning to drive it back to Alaska if I can get a 6 day weather window on the 3200 mile route.

What's the average time from ship date to picking it up at the dealer?

I think 3-4 weeks is the average, but it varies a lot. There's someone on here that had their truck shipped to the same dealer as me (Mark Dodge). Their truck shipped a week before me and took 10 days to get to the dealer. Mine took 21 days.

What dealership? Mine is also 10 miles from SHAP. Been in JB status for 5 weeks.

I'm really close to placing my order. Does anyone know if there needs to be a code for the anti-spin rear diff, which I believe is included in the Night edition? The numbers aren't adding up and that is the only thing that I can think of that could be missing as it shows it separately when you build it online.

Go to the Ram build site, I really think it's in the Night Edition

I have the anti-spin diff listed on my POC, though I did not order the Night package.

Anti-spin Rear Diff is part of the Night Edition on Big Horns. So I'd guess it'd be the same on the Laramie's too.

It is listed under the Laramie Night Edition Package but they show it separately for the online build summary which is confusing.

I asked the dealer to confirm what is included in the packages to make sure it doesn't get missed.

I hope everyone realizes that they're not building more TRX's than other trucks. The high number on the chart is purely a function of the fact that there are almost 800 members of the TRX forum that have registered orders. So the registered TRX "hit rate" is only ~29.5%, whereas the 5th Gen forum "hit rate" is almost 36%.

but we can not see what you see
we only see what the chart shows and that is only members.
maybe a daily foot note to note this
as we are getting more and more new members everyday as you well know.

I hear you...it's hard to keep everyone happy! I did show some cumulative totals (by series/cab/bed) back in post #3100 of this thread. There, you can see that TRX's are not being built in nearly the quantities of most other trims. In fact, if you strip things down to just the series, here's what it looks like...not counting today's build sheets.
