Hello,

Recently received 2022 RAM and I've noticed the each side of fog light turns on every time I turn slightly to the left or right. Either side fog light will turn on depending which side I turn. How would I turn off that feature? I looked all over the settings and couldn't find anything.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Mine don't turn on making simple lane changes, yours do? I have to turn the wheel a certain degree before they kick on or be going a very low speed for them to kick on with my turn signal.
They must have. But it's probably been 2 years since it happened last, when I put the fogs on fulltime.

This feature is called cornering lights. It used to be found primarily on upper trim level cars. First car I had that on was a loaded '84 Mercury Cougar. It's a feature I really like now.
I really like the cornering lights I'm thinking of changing the color to yellow.

I was parked at a convenience store one night, started up the Ram and noticed in the reflection on the windows the projector headlights twerked back and forth, like they're 'calibrating' themselves. I remember the first car I saw doing that was a mid-2000s BMW, and the headlights would track with the steering for extra light going into turns. I gotta wonder if the projectors on the Limiteds/Longhorns do that as well. But yeah, the driving light comes on depending on which way you're turning when the high-beams are engaged - a nice feature for spotting wildlife on back roads, for sure.

Yes, the projector headlights do that.

Yes, adaptive headlights. Limited, Longhorn, and TRX have them.

Thank you all for your insight! I guess I just need some time to get used to it for now. The other issue is I have 8-12 roundabouts in my daily commute each way, so you can imagine how many times my fog lights turn on each time I maneuver safely around the roundabout without any cars beside me. Not only it's distracting, but also not necessarily needed. From what I gather, I'm assuming the only way to combat this is it to keep my fogs on the whole time.

Why would you not want your fog lights on all the time? Who wants to see less of the road?
