Hello,

Recently received 2022 RAM and I've noticed the each side of fog light turns on every time I turn slightly to the left or right. Either side fog light will turn on depending which side I turn. How would I turn off that feature? I looked all over the settings and couldn't find anything.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Why would you want to turn that off. It's supposed to give you more visibility at night when you are turning. What reason would you have to not wanting more light at night?

I find the sudden light when I'm just switching lanes makes me think someone just moved into the empty spot before me. After being startled enough, I just run the fogs full time. But now you know why.

It took me a week to get used to it. And i find it really useful now. I guess having the fogs always on is the best of both worlds. More light and nothing to startle you.

Yeah, never realized this feature existed as I always have my fogs on. Was clued in by another thread recently. Cool feature, sorta, but if you drive with them always on, then it’s moot.

I have a 2020 and mine did that initially I thought someone was flashing me it drove me crazy. There's an option in settings to make it stop.

Mine don't turn on making simple lane changes, yours do? I have to turn the wheel a certain degree before they kick on or be going a very low speed for them to kick on with my turn signal.

It only works below a certain speed. Its designed to help with sharp turns like at intersections or trying to find where the edge of say a driveway is at night.

Yes, Richard stated his make him think other cars are coming next to him so he is either changing lanes at very low speeds or is making very jerky sharp lane changes.

This feature is called cornering lights. It used to be found primarily on upper trim level cars. First car I had that on was a loaded '84 Mercury Cougar. It's a feature I really like now.
