Swapping right away….. gonna just do what I did to my 19’ Ram…… daystars with links for a level for sure (6 month wait time for BDS lift, tired of waiting for stuff 😂).. I was running about a 34.5“ (295/60 R20) Toyo AT tire on a aftermarket 20” wheel and I really liked the look and feel, except in the rain they sucked…. But, So far I haven’t decided between the Nittos or the Toyos yet, this time I’m keeping the 22’s and gonna run a 1” spacer in front and 2” in back.

we’ll see how it goes…. Work in progress.
I see a lot of people loving up on the Nittos/Toyos but they are such overkill for me, I'm almost never off-road. And them being weak in the rain is a big no-no for where I'm at.

I was gonna swap the Goodyear's right away but will probably run out the Pirelli's. After that, looking at Defenders, or possibly a light AT (AT3 4s, Terraincontact A/Ts, etc.). OR, depending on how the trailer I'm getting feels, might go with E loaders.

You can't go wrong with the Defenders... that's what I use here in Southeast Texas and they are excellent in the rain, smooth, and quiet. And, if you have a Costco membership, you can generally get them installed for about $900 (for the 20").

I think I am pretty set on swapping mine out for the TerrainContact A/T's or the Pirelli Scorpion A/T's when my truck comes in (getting new wheels as well). I want the aggressive look but I live in FL, so drivability in the rain is a must and I don't offroad.

I would love to get E rated Defenders but they don't seem to make them for 22's.

So I could be looking at swapping the wheels down the line, but I'd only do that if I knew I was gonna keep the truck for more than 3 years. Depending on how it handles the trailers I'm looking at (numbers-wise I know it can but I need to see how it drives) I may end up with a 2500 within the next couple years, so I don't want to throw too much dough at the 1500 till I know whether it's sticking around or not.

I have a set of the Toyo AT3s waiting for my truck to show up (along with a leveling kit). Trying to decide on spacers as I want the tires to sit more flush with the outside of the fender.

I checked ramchat and after being told again about the scheduling phase I asked why trucks 20k higher with more options were being built they escalated it to the ram team. Not hoping for anything more than maybe some clarification on how they select builds. I know I ordered after many who are still waiting

I had a weird series of events and doubt one affect the other but in one of my chats last week I brought up the same thing and threw in something about frustration, disappointment, and about later orders getting built. I got a case number and an email from our buddy Jeff on Thursday (?). I replied asking for clarification on the build process. I haven't gotten a reply but my dealer said I flipped to D1 on Saturday.

I said similar things last week when I chatted with them. I didn't ask for my case to be escalated and they didn't offer. Just kept saying sorry, parts supply issues and such. They just told me to try again in 2-3 weeks...

They also "escalated" my case and I received an email from "Cara" with exactly zero additional information. I think "Jeff" and "Cara" are bots, spitting out AI-driven canned responses. These responses sound just empathetic and logical enough to make us go away for a week or two.

Yeah... but Cara sounds HOT. 🤣

Sorry for the bad joke, but there needs to be some levity here before we all go nuts waiting for trucks to get built.

I received an email from “Jeff” at Ramcare saying the following
“Good news! I show your order has now been sequenced for production with all the parts necessary to begin building your order either being scheduled or gathered.
I estimate your order should begin the production process soon based on available production and scheduling capacity.”

I checked with Ram Chat and they had the same general comment. It appears I may be in D1. Fingers crossed.

Same response I got from Jeff and 2 days later dealer told me I was in D1. So I would agree with you that you're either in D1 or very close to D1

Why do so many people want leveling kits with bigger tires? Honest question.
