I needed some lights in the cargo trailer at times when i'm not hooked up to the truck. Looked for an inexpensive option. so for about $20 I worked up this idea. battery box with on/off switch and a simple dial dimmer. I was able to hook up a 32' long LED strip in there. I haven't tested it at night yet so I might need to swap out the strip if this one isn't bright enough. but it'll work. Trailer LED Strip3_1.JPG

Nice! Where did you get the LED strip? Which battery box and dimmer?

Have the same light at home and just got the led lights from amazon!
Same here. I have a wooden valance over the window in my office and some of these same Amazon lights behind it to give ambient light at night. The lights are adjusted to give just enough light so I don't have to turn on a light while at the desk after dark.

Here is what I bought. I'm considering using the hot wheels battery adapter for my Bosch 18v batteries instead.
