unfortunately Ford F-150 is taking the place of my ram

I just want to say hello , I am a long time MOPAR owner I had many in past 15 year few rams few Durangos few Chrysler 300 few chargers few challengers I love Chrysler products, unfortunately my lease on my 2020 Laramie is coming to an end in a month or so and Chrysler is not dealing at all, I have try so hard but I give up today I went with ford f150 I got nice deal from them 5% under the invoice no question asked, I must say I am little uneasy switching from ram to ford I think ram is way better truck I love the interior and ride quality of the ram, I have test drove previous gen f150 and is nowhere near ram, I hear the new f150 is improved but still not as good as ram, the ford will cost me 10k less than the ram, I hope I didn't made a big mistake.

Sorry to hear that. I oversee a fleet of Ford work trucks. Nothing but problems with them, but their fleet quotes always beat everyone else. I've had fleet sales guys tell me that they will break even or even take a loss to increase their fleet sales, allowing them to tout themselves as selling more trucks than anyone.

I still have one more ram at the house dude relax ,lol all I said dodge won't deal and I won't trow money at them now, when they get their S**t together I will go back.

It was sarcasm. You said you hope you didnt make a mistake. Owning a Ford is a mistake...ha ha funny you know.

But we do get alot of memberships that are only here to make one post about how RAM did something terrible and then never to be heard of again.

People are lining up to buy trucks...and you want them to discount...ford did cause they are losing the battles right now....again...haha funny you know

Not that I don’t like it, it’s not my first chance, Chrysler won’t deal so I’ll get the Ford 🤷‍♂️
 
So. We have read numerous times here that fords trims are lacking compared to RAM. (I have no idea...just what i read...i did not know other makes existed /sarcasm\)

So. Did you get a comparable truck?

Says something to me that RAM wont budge...but ford did...all i really needed to learn from this.

At least you got a good trim and the best motor option.
At the very least you'll be able to spank any 5.7 Ram that hasn't been modified.
 
I did the opposite. Bought the RAM because Ford could not get me the F150 I wanted. Purchased a Limited of the dealer lot just to get a truck. Had an F150 prior to buying the RAM. I will definitely go back to Ford when the warranty on the RAM expires. Never had one issue with my F150s. I hope you will he happy with yours, its a great truck.

I ended up with a Ram because of what you mentioned. However, I see no need to go back at this time. My Ram is so luxurious compared to the F150 FX4 I had.

x2. Former F-150 owner here.
The RAM's are heavier, thus making them ride nicer.
Also, the RAM's 8-speed tranny blows the clunky/jerky 10-speed offering from Ford away.
Just makes the RAM so much smoother.

RAM has less issues than Ford according to JDP.
 
I just place the order 64k msrp I luck the price at 55.8 K , the dealer said if there is additional rebates on the day you pick up the truck we will grant those to, I know for sure I will have my wife's first responder discount that is not included in the 55.8, hopefully there will be some more. stay tuned for bunch of pictures .....
