2022 Orders

When I asked about honoring affiliate pricing, my dealer told me that there are no incentives on 2022 trucks, not even for FCA employees.

It is possible that Mark dodge moves enough volume they don't have to worry as much about losing some money. There is still profit to the dealers at the invoice price.
He said all his orders in the system have already seen the $2800 price increase, it is possible Mark see's that and either hasn't shared it or is willing to eat that to keep their volume up. I am waiting to see what happens when people start taking delivery.
My guy did state that in previous years the invoice would reflect the original price. Also possible Mark is counting on that. I assume they don't want to ruffle feathers and have people consider going elsewhere before theirs is done being built.

IMO they can say anything, but it is meaningless till you get to the final day and see the final bill. It has happened to me in the past on other automotive matters. I once had a bunch of work done, came to get the bill and got a small price increase. Salesmen showed me the state law that allowed them to charge an extra 1% over the initial quote for the work.

Went into my dealership (Bucks County PA, Reedman Toll) this weekend to get a quote/idea on a 22 BigHorn Crew cab...

Dealer told me they are not offering Premium Headlight upgrade for 22. True or false?

Night editions are being made but there is a wheel shortage that could potentially delay order. True or false?

I was told that 3-4 months delivery date is do able. True or false?

Did you talk specific price when you ordered yours?

Initially they told me MSRP only. That is the same thing I heard from all 5 dealers within about 30 miles of me. So I went with the one closest that did high volume. When I was in the dealer placing my order I once again tried to discuss pricing. He said wouldn't go commit anything since we didn't know what manufacture incentives there would be and since prices were not official at that time he didn't want them to change and I get upset later.

Shortly after ordering I learned about the affiliate program and inquired if they would accept that, since the page says it is a dealer descension program. He stated they would do the affiliate program pricing.

I don't feel bad about the $100 to Tread Lightly since I think at the root of the program it is a good cause. I might still donate next year.

I ordered a 22 BH with Premium Light group in late August, so it was available to build then

Take the affiliate invoice price and buy it before they sell to someone else at a $5k markup….. my dealer just told me the best he can do is $2500 off msrp and they don’t do affiliate pricing. Bummer….. they just sold a 2021 limited identical to what I ordered at $5k over msrp.

first good news since i placed my order, on March 31st. from the dealer today:

Hi James, as of sept 27 it moved to "J" status which is "paint" and has an updated ship date of Sept-30-2021
Check in with me or Erica next week and hopefully we can confirm it is enroute.

Ordered end of June and still D status. I try not to look too much as to when the truck was ordered, happy for those getting built. That said, the TRX guys experienced the same thing.

Yes, it does, but I have in writing that my quoted price is my max they will charge me. If they reneg, that's fine, they'll refund my deposit and I'll wait a couple of years and try again.

I ordered back in June and selected the Premium Lighting Group and the Night Edition and both were on my POC. It may have changed since then though.

Were you monitoring status changes on Ram Chat? If so how long did it spend in I, JB, JS etc? Actually it didn't spend any time in JS. It went from finishing up at JB directly to KZ shipable today.

I just checked with ram chat on my build status and received this response. Is this another variation of "D" status or might I be in "D1" now. I don't want to ask my dealer for an updated POC if I'm still in "D". Last time I checked with ram chat, they were still gathering parts, so this seems to be an improvement.

I just heard back from my dealer. I am in D1 with an expected ship date of 10/2.

Were you monitoring status changes on Ram Chat? If so how long did it spend in I, JB, JS etc? Actually it didn't spend any time in JS. It went from finishing up at JB directly to KZ shipable today.

I think I checked with Ram Chat maybe once. I emailed my dealer a few weeks ago and was told I was in D status. After I saw Eighty's post earlier that I had a build sheet, I emailed the dealer again.
