For the first week or so I had nav on full screen and for the last couple of days I have been experimenting with the split screen. Here's my question.

I put nav on the top half and media on the bottom. When I shut off the truck that's what is on the screen. When I come back to the truck and start it, the media is on the bottom, as I left it, but the top back to the default "choose an application" or whatever. Anyway you have to pick nav, swipe to get the map to show instead of favorites.

So, am I not saving what I want, is this normal or is this needing to be addressed by the dealer?

I have the same issue. I beleive its a software gremlin that will have to wait until the next UConnect update

Ok, at least I'm not having another senior moment and doing something dumb......

Maybe I'll call Uconnect today or tomorrow and see if an update can be pushed to the truck.

Edit.... Talked to Uconnect and they said they are unable to push the update. He said it is done by regions. Odd I think. So anyway he indicated he'd see about pulling my update ahead. It'll happen sooner or later.....

Correct. Not the end of the world but something I wish they would have fixed.

When I restart my truck I am presented with card selection all over again, my truck does not retain the last two cards I had when it was shut off. I assume that they are supposed to remain on the last selected cards?

I believe so. Seems like a software bug.

Anyone have any luck with this yet? I hate the fact that every time I start the truck, it defaults to my FAVORITES versus the NAV screen with the map.

Resurrecting a 2-1/2 year old thread because, unless I'm mistaken, RAM still has not addressed this glitch. And it IS a glitch. There's no reason I can think of why Uconnect doesn't remember when you have the navigation MAP selected. Why on earth does it default to 'favorites' to where you have to swipe to get the map every time the truck is shut down? Are people that lost that RAM feels one needs to select a destination every time they start their truck? Why can't it just remember how you had it?

That is the way the software was written...it is not a glitch, but the way RAM meant it to be. Stupid indeed, but do not expect a fix for it.

Wait am I reading this right, when you use the trucks navigation you can do a split screen on that? I've been trying to do that and I have been unsuccessful.

WTH, wonder what I'm doing wrong then. Is there something you need to hit to split the navigation?
