I did a 2" front leveling kit on my built to serve and added 295/60R20 all new Nitto Recon Grappler all terrains. Rides great. These tires are quiet!
Agreed, as long as you don't live where it snows. They seem to be great tires for most conditions, but they don't appear to be snow rated for anyone else looking at buying these. Probably not an issue for you based on your username thoughThose tires looks great. I've been interested to hear more about these. They look like the perfect combo for A/T and daily driver use.
Haha no we don't get a whole lot of snow here. We get a fair amount all winter long but it's rarely more than 3-4 inches at a time. Any A/T tire can handle our winters.Agreed, as long as you don't live where it snows. Best a/t tire I've ever had. So quiet. They are 10 ply tire alsoThose tires looks great. I've been interested to hear more about these. They look like the perfect combo for A/T and daily driver use.
Amazon specials and they are great. A buddy of mine with a Ceramic Gray BTS did the same kit
I wouldn't do the top hat spacers. Changes the geometry of the suspension too much. The Bilstein 5100s are the way to go and likely the way I'll go if I decide to level mine.
I understand that - however using the top hat spacers change the geometry more significantly. Plenty of youtube videos that show why you should NOT use a top hat spacer when leveling the truck. The UCA can and does come in contact with the spring occassionally. Not something I'd want to have happening on my truck.Raising the truck at all changes suspension geometry.
