To Flap or Not to Flap? That is my question...

I like the look of my truck better without them, but every time I would hear a rock ping off my truck on a gravel road or parking lot, it felt like a kidney punch.

I'm not overly impressed with the durability of the paint on this truck as it is, but the look isn't horrible and they're a lot cheaper than a new paint job.

Do the WT flaps come with a protective tape to protect your fenders from scratching? If not, did you use any kind of protective film between the flaps and fenders?

Yes they did

I have the thick all rubber Mopar flaps, like them. I didn’t want to worry about the other kinds that overlap onto the paint.
