Well that's a bummer. I went ahead and applied for it too since my credit union qualifies. No way I'll make it though since it's a 2022
I just received a call from Bonus Drive (the Allstate $250 coupon) they are closing my application as I have not
bought my truck yet since it is still in production. I can reapply once I receive the truck, as long as I take possession by August 1st, FCA is discontinuing the program after that. I think I will be missing out on this as my truck is due to be built July 15th then 3 to 5 weeks to Hawaii looking more like Labor Day
Do y’all have the link to apply handy?

I bought a 2021 Ram Limited off the lot our of state, they discounted $1500 off the sticker, a full tank of gas and a pretty fair deal on the lifetime bumper to bumper warranty.
That was a big deal to me, I drive 40 to 50K miles a year...

Sounds like SouthFork RaM.

That’s news. Discontinuing Bonus Drive? Not surprising that they are. Damn this market is crazy bad for consumers

Just a quick FYI for comparison sake. The Limited build in my sig is MSRP $62985. Had the dealer price a 2022. A 2022 equipped the same (although it has Uconnect5) is $63865.

I'm surprised thats all the higher the 2022 is. I've been comparing alot and having dealer build sheets. I swear BH and Laramie are coming in 2,000 to 2,400 more than the comparable 2021. I was able to negotiate 3% below Invoice but that's about it. However rebates still apply so it will come down a little more. It's tough to agree on purchase price right now but easy to agree on trade value.

Yeah, my 2022 Limited is a 10th Anniversary, 4x4, rambox, tow package, off road, cover, tech group, no sunroof and it was around 63,500. Came in close to 5% below invoice. I'm curious to see if there are any FCA discounts once it shows up at the dealership. MRSP did tick up and it seems like the gap between employee pricing an invoice is smaller than it was last year, but all in all it's not as big of an increase as I expected. My jaw dropped a little when I saw Mark Dodge's pricing (in a good way).

The MSRPs will never stop staggering my common sense… But then I’m of an age that loaded short bed Silverados were 10 grand… And I couldn’t afford THAT. 😂
My local dealerships (there are 6) were completely unwilling to work with me too. It was insulting, "Your price is MRSP". I mean, I was so annoyed that I decided to seek other options over doing the FCA Affiliate program and giving any of them any of money. I would have been willing to spend more, like Hold Back pricing, just to deal with the local guy but they lost that chance. One dealer in particular is very, very slow on service. Service is what bothers me the most about this purchase. It took them over 2 weeks to diagnose and replace the fuel injectors in my mom's Grand Cherokee Summit and we were stuck dealing with them after having it towed there. I have a friend that works at another dealership owned by the same owner as this CDJR dealer and he knows someone that waited 4.5 months to have an 02 sensor replaced. I don't understand how they stay in business like that.

I have said so many times. Deal honestly, openly, and treat your customers with respect. Someone calls, or emails, asking for price or information? GIVE THEM THE PRICE!! People will THROW money at you. The dealership model absolutely sucks. It’s so damn easy to at least PRETEND to give a sh!t.

I may have been able to get a better deal by haggling a bit but was very happy with how my dealer dealt with us. We went through the process of ordering the truck, he printed out the order sheet which showed MSRP and Dealer Invoice prices. He just circled the Dealer Invoice price and said, "That is your price". Everything on the lot was being sold at MSRP without any option to negotiate.

Our local dealer is the same way. I don't haggle, I just ask for the price. Locally, it was MSRP less any FCA incentives. So, after some time here, I sent an email to Aaron with a sample build. All I said was that he was referred by a lot of people on this board and "Silent Bob" and could he quote the build I sent. He came back at 14.5% off MSRP, less FCA incentives, for a total of around 17.5% off MSRP (before taxes.) That is a huge difference when you're talking about a pickup--especially a pretty well optioned Limited!

So is 2022 pricing available to dealers now? Been working with my local salesperson and they said I won’t be able to order until they have 2022 pricing visibility from Ram.

Yes, it is. Several of us have pricing in writing and builds ordered.

That’s exactly what I am talking about. The dealership was open and direct with you and you saw enough value in that to agree to the deal. EASY! Everyone wins!

l am a very tough negotiator, if the salesman comes at me totally on script repeating word tracks that I know by heart myself, it’s going to be a bad day for him and the desk. Come at me in a genuine manner, off the cuff, and ummmm… Know your product?? I am much more likely to sign a deal that lets the dealership hold a little more gross. Thankfully for my wallet that second scenario has been proven to be exceedingly rare.
