Screen protector options

I was having the exact same thought...

Several people have placed things on their dash or windshield that have fallen and scratched their screen. People have posted this on this forum. That's what can happen

I have a 4 YO son who likes to touch, hit, kick and jump on just about everything... Cheap insurance but I would buy it again just for the resistance to fingerprints.

Agree I am not worried about scratches or breakage.

for me it is the glare and finger prints (but those are easily cleaned/wiped off)

Has anyone explored the possibility of adding a screen protector for the 12-in screen? If so, what did you use. I’m looking at the Zagg screen protector designed for the 11in iPad Pro. These are the dimensions I got for it.

I went with a tempered Glass option....No lag at all very smooth and responsive. Easy install.

Just so you know, the one you bought is IDENTICAL to this one below. You may want to rethink what you bought. I bought 3 different ones off Amazon, the one you bought included. They were all identical, just different cover on the package. They're all coming from the same Chinese factory. I had this one below on my 2019 and bought another for my 2021. Excellent protector. More expensive is not always better!

I purchased this one, I looked them all over and bought the one with the best reviews. Haven't installed it yet, but as others say, better to add a 20-30$ protector or spend 3K to replace the screen.

Like I stated above...this one is is exactly that same as the $13 one above...EXACTLY! Save your money and buy the $13 one.

Curious...why are you guys buying a $35 screen protector that is IDENTICAL IN EVERY WAY to the one I posted for $13 that many of us have purchased and are extremely happy with? Sorry, but I am struggling to get my head around why you would willingly pay more for the EXACT same thing coming out of the same factory As I stated previously, I bought the $35 one and two other cheapie ones off Amazon because I was curious. They are all the same and the packaging was the same...just a different cover on the box. Your money...just hard to comprehend.

At first I hadn't read anyone saying it was the same so i went with the one with more reviews. Trust me I like to bargain...lol

I just installed the KYKR screen protector from amazon. I know....i spent too much ($35) vs the cheap $13 protector that everyone said was the same. I read those posts after I purchased it and didn't feel like waiting for another one. Installation was a breeze and with the screen outlined, it's easy to line it up the first time. It doesn't seem to leave any fingerprints whatsoever on it which is nice. I can't say much about the cheap one but this one seems to be worth the money.

No, this one is matte finish. Those are a tad higher for whatever reason.

Sorry Neuro...did not see it was matte...my bad my friend. I have had zero issues with the non-matte ones related to glare or fingerprints for whatever it's worth
