CAI, what did you end up installing and why?

Many people have installed cold air intake on their 5.7 from various manufacturers, but I haven't seen many people express the reasons they used the manufacturers they chose. Was it looks, HP gains, price? Anyone actually dyno before and after to see results?

I'm just curious to see why people use what they use.

I went with a Procharger.... lol
Had an AFE CAI before that though. I liked it. I dyno’d before installing my Procharger to get a baseline and put I want to say 331 to the wheels if I remember right. They said that was a little higher than normal for a 5.7 hemi ram so maybe I got something out of it. I did have a magnaflow cat back exhaust already on it too.

How do like your magnaflow? Is it a bit on the quiet side? I'll check out the procharger. Thanks for the info!

I like it too! Did you consider the Mopar force air?
Yes, but did the cost difference, I went with this one. If the ever come out with the good that is supposed to go with it, I might change.

I like the magnaflow. It is mellow with a nice rumble to me. Mine is louder now that I have long tubes as well

I definitely like mellow, but a nice low rumble too. I wanted the borla touring, but most guys say it's louder than what they thought.

I went with the S&B. I liked the looks and the sound is great. Other than that I have no other expectations from it. I didn’t notice MPG increase or performance increase. CFF01D91-302F-4454-89F2-AC59094FE862.jpeg

I’m about to install OEM LED fog lights on my 2020 Big Horn which came with the factory incandescent fogs. (I think the LEDs will look decent along with the incandescent headlights). Does anyone know what I need to change in AlfaOBD for this? Brand new to this forum.

Did you notice any HP or MPG gains?
Nothing worth noting... Added the CAI, the Pulsar, TBS, exhaust all at the same time so it'd be difficult to say where the gains came in. Sounds cooler than stock when you stomp on it though.

Total RAM and forum noob - amazon says this doesn't fit my 2020 Ram. I have a 5.7 w/o eTorque. Am I missing something?
It fits just fine. Don’t go by Amazon. Many of us have it and I had it on my 2019 and now on my 2021. Same filter for all the RAMs.

I went with afe Power Force stage-2 intake. Say's 54% more air flow over stock setup, 640cfm & +24hp & +32tq. It feels a little faster, but I never got it dyno tested. Sounds great when you get on it. It uses the bottom of your stock air box. Simple install.
