Hi Guys. MY 2019 Ram 1500 Limited currently has a BLastin Bobs muffler only swap on it. Initially I loved it, the more I drove it on the highway, the more annoying it became. Terrible drone.

My brother in law just got a 2020 Rebel, and it has a Borla Atak on it. HOLY CRAP. IT sounds amazing, and under light load or highway cruising so quiet in the cabin. I also looked into the S-type, but no one local has one I can listen to. So based off online videos, It sounds as if the S type is just a softer Atak.

So I am kind of torn between going with the Atak or S-type. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Also, who has the best deal on either system. Thanks

I had the s type on my 14 but will be installing the Atak on my 21. The Atak to me sounds perfect and will never look back only listen.

Absolutely love my ATAK cant say enough good things about it and it is definately not too loud imo just super aggressive when you want it to be and no drone!

Another vote for the ATAK. Definitely not too loud imo.

I paid $940 shipped for mine.
Where did you get it through?
My brother in law has the Atak on the Rebel he just got and it sounds great but on start up you can hear it 3 blocks over lol which is why I want opinions on the S type

I went through the same decision you did, all the videos and 'research', and it's definitely not that loud. I would have been disappointed if I went with the S.

Get the loudest one, you can always quiet it down by adding g a resonator before the cat back, if you get the S type and find it too mellow you can't make it any louder besides removing the cats.

Also cold starts are always going to produce the loudest sound, i just returned a Yukon XL off lease and ran a Corsa system (touring) and it was super loud on start up and super civilized while driving.

+1 for the ATAK. I have a 19 rebel and after listening to sound clips and watching videos, I was sold on the sound of the ATAK.
Cold starts are amazing and sounds amazing on hard acceleration. It will definitely turn some heads but the exhaust sound is quiet while just cruising and doesn't drone.
I guess it depends on what you are after, if you're wanting to wake up the quiet v8 then I'd definitely recommend the ATAK

I just installed the S type on my 19 Rebel last week, not too loud, not too quiet, jussst right.
Would you say it’s noticeable at light throttle but not stupid loud? I still want
To hear it but don’t want it annoyingly loud.
I’m actually going to go drive my brother in law Rebel with Atak tonight to see how that sounds and think if that is stupid loud then I know the S type is for me

At light throttle you could definitely hear it, heavy throttle the truck roars, on the highway no drone. Cold starts are the bomb and don’t seem to annoy my neighbors. I wanted a truck that sounds like a truck but didn’t want to be obnoxious about it.
