Just asked RamCares about the status of my truck since the VIN now generates a window sticker.

"Thank you so much for holding. I am showing that your vehicle has been built and is pending installation of additional equipment. This is a necessary step when additional features or optional equipment packages are added to the vehicle. Currently no Dealer ETA has been provided. Please reach out to the Selling Dealer as they may have a more accurate date of arrival or status for you."

So truck is finally here, picking it up tomorrow afternoon. Can't wait. For all you guys wondering how long an order may take, took 12 1/2 weeks from placing the order to receiving it (Mind you, dealer told me 4-6 weeks). Regardless, super excited. Hopefully roads clear by then and snowing will stop and salt will be mostly gone so I don't coat it immediately after driving it off the lot. Anywho, gonna get an update from my case manager today to see if that mx plan is still on the table or not before I go in tomorrow. I'll probs post one more update after I receive it and then I'll put the appropriate pricing and other stuff in the other threads.

Salesman sent me this, will send more later...

Order Placed - Nov 23
VIN / VON / Placed in (D) Status - Nov 24
Parts Acquired and Ready to Build (D1) - Dec 30
Equipment List (Build Sheet) / Build Date / Entered Inspection (I) Status - Jan 14 (16th Hour To Be Exact)
Shipping (KZ S) Status - Feb 15th
Window Sticker Generated - Feb 17th
Shipped - Feb 17th
Arrived at Dealer - Feb 17th

this order process cracks me up....we're all a bit like addicts, just WAITING BY THE PHONE so-to-speak for the next update. When we get our 'fix,' it only lasts for a few hours of contentment and then we want another one. I'm actively fighting the urge to call my dealer or ping RamChat. It's hard. My dealer estimated 11 to 14 weeks and 2/29 will be 4 weeks. Will check in again then. Must. Fight.Truck.Update.Urges.....

So I use this forum as free therapy :)

ha, yes. they probably have histories on all of us. "Oh gawd, hey Larry check this out... it's this guy again. Copy/paste the party line and if he threatens to cancel tell him you'll 'elevate to management' and then let's go to lunch. I'm hungry."

^ ok maybe not exactly like that...

I hear ya. When the '14 JGC was announced we were talking about it non-stop 6 months before the ordering banks came open (thread was over 10,000+ posts). As soon as the banks opened there were about 50 of us placing an order and then waiting to see who would be the first to get one. At that point we could check with someone who was a Jeep Insider that could track our vehicles about 2 times a week on the status. I waited 7 weeks then for that Jeep on order and now facing about the same 7-8 weeks for my new Ram Wanting to chat with RamChat 2-3 times a day just to see if it moved is like a huge celebration but we know it doesn't move that fast. As soon as we get them they will be the "Shiny new toy" for about a week as we want to sit in it and play or just go for a ride because it is so awesome. The 1st time there is a problem we complain of what a sh*tty truck it is, lol. Forums are a therapy to most of us as we have almost nothing better to do until this damn Co-Vid is over and life can go back to somewhat normalcy.

Oh my goodness lol, well my Stellantis case manager rep called, love this dude. They freakin offered me that Complimentary mx plan, 5 years / 50k miles. Only caveat is that oil changes will not exceed $65, every other piece of standard routine mx is covered till then. Guess they wanted to put that in because Diesel oil changes are usually $200+ from dealer. So I guess calling does help hahaha. Got the Code for it and the Plan is called "Scheduled Maintenance Plan for 2013 or Newer Vehicles" for all those interested. So happy about that.

And I thought the 2x per week was bad. Though the last person I chatted with told me ... "don’t trust the emails from RAM they are never right" ... and, "check back with us in March"

I just got an email from Ramcare saying "...your new vehicle order has been built and is showing the shipping process should now be concluded. We have been provided an estimated delivery to dealer window of 02-17-21..." I haven't heard from the dealer yet, but my salesman's day off is Wed, and they may not have been open yesterday due to the weather.
