I just purchased the Diablosport Pulsar for my 2019 Ram 1500. Installed on my truck, downloaded the update agent to my MacBook Pro plugged it in to my OBD2 port and then the laptop but it does nothing, it just stays on the Connect Device screen. Anyone else experienced this?

I've had no issues... But I'm not a Mac guy. I also used an OBD cable by Holley.

Thanks for the reply. I also purchased the OBD cable from Holley. Maybe the issue is with the Mac? Still searching for an answer. Will try to call tech support today.

Call up their tech department. I had an issue with mine going through the option menu and they were super helpful in getting it resolved.

I have an answer to the issue of updating my Diablosport Pulsar for my 2019 5th Generation RAM 1500 using a MacBook Pro laptop. After waiting all day for a call back from Diablosport about my issue, I decided to call them again. They were very professional but unfortunately did not resolve my issue. Before I purchased the Pulsar for my RAM I called Diablosport to make sure that it was updateable using a MacBook and not a pc laptop. I was assured that the Pulsar was able to be updated using a MacBook and the download agent was available for download at Diablosport.com. I ordered the Pulsar in good faith that I could update it with my MacBook. After speaking with a Tech- support agent at Diablosport today (who checked with the engineering dept.) I found out today that I was given false information and you cannot update the Pulsar using a MacBook! I was told that the engineers were working on developing a download agent for the Pulsar using a MacBook but they had no idea when this would happen. The Tech- support agent said he was sorry but there was nothing he could do. I hope the product works well without an update as I don’t want to purchase a windows based laptop.

Sounds like it's time to phone a friend?
