So I see a few of the posts here are waiting for 2021 replacement trucks. Do we know if this is still happening on the 2021 models? did the wheels and tires change from 20 to 21?

Don’t wait any longer, I let mine go on for a year with sleepless nights, days without my truck, missed work and extra stress. My replacement 2021 is being built now. I hope it doesn’t have the same issue! I should have squashed my issue after a few months and 3000 miles. Got to the point dealers would tell me no more they can do or there’s nothing wrong, just driver it as all my tires are wearing away and I’m vibrating down the road! Good luck and don’t play their game any longer, enough is enough. Check your state laws, lemon laws and have all your ducks in a row. I know your pain and it sucks!
Just spent the last 2 day's preparing for battle! Got all of the documentation I needed and spent all afternoon typing up the email to the lawyer. FYI the dealership that blackballed me voided my engine, transmission, and power train warranty! More firepower...

Are you able to return your truck back to stock for the warranty work or lemon law case? It's a frustrating situation but you can't expect a warranty or lemon law to cover modifications.

I fixed my vibration issue by changing out the wheels and tires (at my expense) to another set of Ram wheels and tires.

Ram Cares helped me out with an unrelated issue. I was pleasantly surprised as my experience with different dealerships had been so unhelpful. It's free to give them a chance.
Are you going to pay the thousands of dollars to return it back to stock... because I'm not! I'm glad that you were able to resolve the issue and RAM Cares stepped up and did their job for a change.

It's not the wheels and tires, and to answer your question I think it would be safe to say no.

I selected different wheels for sure and I think I’m getting the tires they put on the off road package. Unfortunately I have seen post where the 2020 and 21’s have the same issue😩 I hope mine won’t!

Hello,
I can't figure out how to send you a private message. I clicked on " Ram Cares" and it took me to the page shown below in a snapshot but, I don't see anyway to private message from there.
Thank You ram.jpg

Thank You.
I am out of town on business right now, when I get home and retrieve my Vin number I will message Ram Cares to see how you are able to assist me with this vibration I am having with my Ram 1500 . I am still waiting on the Dealership to call me back when they can take it in to start the process, it has only taken them 6 weeks and 2 visits to acknowledge that there is a problem and that it's not my new Michelin tires.

Anyone with a 21 have the vibration issue?
Anyone with a 21 have the vibration issue?
I own a 21 with vibration issues. I brought the truck back to the dealership with 300 miles explaining between 58-64 mph the truck would vibrate.I was told they couldn’t replicate it. At 900 miles I went back to the dealership and demanded a tech ride with me. At the end of the ride the tech acknowledgment there was an issue. He felt my tires had flat spots and I would need new tires. After two weeks and no response from the dealership, I called asking when I would receive new tires. I was told at that time Bridgestone nor Ram would take responsibility. I asked the service advisor where does that leave me after purchasing a 65,000 msrp vehicle? He told me “ In a tough spot”..This is my first Ram purchase so far it’s a horrible experience.😡

i Would have a tire shop verify that..some people are reporting bent rims as well...I hope you get it sorted. Did you ask Ram Care for assistance?

Oh no, I just ordered a 2021 as my 19 was bought back for this same issue. I don’t believe tires is the problem, to my knowledge flat spots are caused by sitting on the lot for a long time with low psi! Your 2021 didn’t sit anywhere for very long. This is the same thing ram pulled with me , said all the tires were bad and they were not replacing them. Sent me to a independent tire shop , where it was confirmed that tires were not the issue, but all the rims were bent/manufactured wrong, how ever after bouncing back and forth to 3 dealers over a years time, they all say it’s not the rims, even the specialist ram sent out said it’s not the rims or tires. They were doing a lot of guessing and replaced several parts, some of which seemed to make it better, but at the end of the day, the vibration is still there. Let the tough battle begin, just keep taking it back, document, document, document. Save all paper work, tell the dealer to keep it until it’s fixed, in the mean time start looking for a good lemon law lawyer. Don’t let them drag this out for a year like they did with me. The dealers and ram admitted mine had a issue finally at 3500 miles. After several trips to the dealer I got them to buy it back at 7900 miles, still driving it with the vibration while my 2021 is being built. Good luck!

My OEM tires were wobbly pieces of ****, long story short the dealership and Firestone told me to pound sand. Firestone said they would replace my tires but I had already put some miles on them so they wanted me to pay for the miles driven, and of course labor to mount and balance. No thanks, don't need to pay for another set of ****ty tires or labor to replace your substandard product.

On the upside I'll never purchase a Firestone/Bridgestone product again. Unfortunately my bias against dealerships is becoming fully cemented in my mind. They are pukes, the lowest form of life on earth, not even human ****ing beings, nothing but unorganized grabastic pieces of amphibian ****.

The dealership is not responsible for the tires, but they should definitely take care of the situation considering how much money changed hands. They need to fight with the tire manufacturer, not the end consumer. The dealership covers their rear when they stick the tire pamphlet in your glove box. They gloss right over that when you're all giddy about to get the new ride.

This will happen regardless of the model year, specially if FCA went with the lowest possible bidder.

Reading some of these posts and what some are reporting about dealer response sure is disheartening. I thought I'd include this Vehicle Vibration Diagnostic procedure. This procedure assumes a properly equipped shop environment and a technician skill level, but gives you an fair idea how a tech. should be approaching vibration issues. This may be helpful to some of you.

I hope everyone gets their vibration issues resolved.

Best regards,

Okay, I may have discovered the actual cause, an engineering defect that RAM/FCA is acting like they're blind to. Check the angle of your engine dampener or the face of the transmission output shaft. Mine is at -4 degrees down from the factory. Then check your pinion flange or the back of the axle housing angle at the rear end, which mine is at 0 degrees. These should be parallel with each other which mine should be -4 down at trans and +4 up at the pinion. On a factory truck they should be no greater than 3 degrees and 2 degrees being optimal for zero vibration. Remember they have to be at the same number forward and aft but offsetting which correlates to -4 and +4 in my case. Mine will be different because I have a 6" lift with 22" rims and 35" tires. These dealership's don't know their asses from a hole in the ground so stop waisting your time. I had it out with a second dealership today because my gut was telling me that the backlash was off in the rear end. I bought this set of upper and lower control arms for the rear to correct the pinion angle from a company called APOC INDUSTRIES out of Tennessee. I will let you guys know if this works. I've already proceeded with an attorney to seek the Lemon Law because I've invested too much time and money in this. I'm mechanically driven in nature and determined to fix the issue. If I can prove this flaw...than hopefully I can bring justice for all.

The procedure I enclosed is for area diagnosis. It's not suppose to provide resolution. It is expected that once a tech. reaches a certain point, they will pursue the necessary checks of any associated components listed in the step. In your case, if your diagnosis is correct about driveshaft angle, the very last step identifies that as a possible problem source. Corrective action should be provided in the appropriate service or training manuals.

I agree... Brought it to another dealership 2 week's ago now and they couldn't do anything but charge me $140.00 for a diagnostic fee to observe what I already knew. They also informed me that my powertrain warranty was flagged by the other dealership whom said they weren't going to do that. Now I've got a $58,000.00 truck with a voided powertrain warranty from a 2" front leveling kit! I've contacted a lawyer and waiting for the plan. Now I have to sue that dealership and FCA. I'm done with this truck...
