Here are some software changes that I would like to see made

Have a PAUSE Route option on the map screen so that when I take an off ramp to eat, the guidance will not tell me to repeatedly make a u-turn while heading to my favorite fast food place.

Allow the guidance voice to stay at volume I last selected, why is it set to default to 12 if lower? The radio volume does not change.

Allow performers on Comedy channels to be selected as Favorites same as on music channels

Fix glitch to keep display theme setting on the cluster. Apparently This is scheduled to be fixed but who knows.

I have thought of another change I would like to see, since you can have a favorite list why not have a do not listen to list.

Any other ideas out there?

Here's a thought: on my 2014 Silverado, if I got a call while listening to the radio, it would go back to the XM screen after I hang up.

On uconnect, if I answer the phone while listening to music, then hang up the call, the display stays on phone favorites. Since I answered the call on radio mode, why not return to it when I hang up? If GM could to this, I have no doubt FCA can as well...

Please put back the ability to permanently select channels to skip in Sirius on uconnect 12.1.

The manual even says it should be there.... But it's not. 2018-10-16 16.45.21.jpg

Please allow navigation while moving as we have passengers who can input data with out having to pull over while passengers input data!

Please with this, every non American manufacture does this. It’s so convenient

Correction, Honda doesn't. Our 2017 Pilot with Nav doesn't allow typed inputs while driving, or even adjusting the audio settings (equalizer, balance, etc.).

But yes to RAM doing it please!

Unfortunately, I think more are moving away from allowing nav entry while in motion.

It would be nice if there was a calibration procedure for the ANC system, so it could handle multiple people in the vehicle, and/or upgraded speakers. *dreaming*

The same mechanism that disables front airbags if the passenger is underweight could determine if another passenger was in the seat... Then unlock the input functions while moving.

Unreal RAM hasn’t thought of this. You should apply for a job at RAM

Thx... I have about 5 or 6 ideas 7m sure everyone would like. Most of us probably do.

TPM system calibration or reset function... just saw it on a Honda, nice feature. Handy for flat/spare replacement or aftermarket wheels. Less trips to the dealer for DIY stuff.

I'm sure they probably have, but remember that every one of those updates probably has to go through endless review by the FCA legal department. I'll bet a lot of innovative ideas see a quick death by the lawyers even though they would be popular with customers.

Please fix the terrible speaker issue with aux volume offset. When I play music through “aux” and turn the offset to +3 those speakers crackle. To make them sound decent I have to turn it to -1 I had a charger before and left my aux offset volume to +3 and it sounded great. This is a software issue. I also have the alpine and they sound terrible

I have a few more things I wish the Ram did and or didn’t do. First off I hate that the truck turns lane sense off when it thinks I’m not holding the wheel. I agree navigation input should be allowed as stated above. Another is that when I am watching something on fb through Bluetooth the truck wants to mute the volume if not listening to music. No matter what I do. Why can I not watch my own video with volume. Also it would be highly appreciated if you could select the step to come out on drivers side only as I work out of my truck and open the passenger door often and do not get in and the step hits my shins. I also would like to see a few more but I’ll save some for later.

I'll add that with all the great cameras with the surround view system, there should be an option to enable recording. Would be a very good and first ever 4 channel OEM dashcam. It would be an option to charge another $500-600 at least. Likely only some minor software change to have this.
