I was not ready to upgrade the tires yet. The truck only has 2000 miles on it. I went through a pothole this morning on the road on my way to work. I pulled into my shop and I hear a hissing sound on my passenger rear tire. Side wall has a split in it. Crappy Goodyear stock street car tires that should not be on a truck in my opinion. Didn’t last for crap. I needed something fast that would fit my truck and did not require a lift. I scoured the forum and I found a member that used these tires on his truck and it looks good. Luckily I found a tire store in my area that had them in stock for a good deal installed.

Front tire and rear tire went through the pothole. No load in the back. You would think the front tire that had more weight on it would take the damage. I don’t know if it was just a defective tire

IMO as much as I love my ram, it seems like they really went overboard when they dialed it down on the stock tires to enhance the ride for test drives.

Installed door sill protection. They fit well and were pretty easy to apply accurately and without bubbles. The texture is similar to bed liner, not rough/scratchy like sandpaper I think it works well on a dark color, but might look strange on light colors?

I'm happy for $33.

I saw these on amazon. I think I am going to go with these as well as I have noticed some scratches on my doors in this location.

Because of my parking situation at work, I didn’t want to lift or level so stuck to 285/45/22
And because I do have to deal with snow (I am in Canada after all), I decided for something winter approved

If it doesn’t bother you at all, do you really have any business putting them on in the first place?

The man has enough pride in his country to put Stars and Stripes on his truck... I’d say he has plenty of business displaying that love of country. I served this great country in Iraq and it gives me a great sense of pride to see a citizen, especially in this strange day in age, showing his appreciation for the country he is blessed to be living in.

IMHO, there are far worse things going on in this world that you can channel your dismay towards than someone who shares your same love of country. Start with the people burning the flags, perhaps.

To the OP, nice work on the install. Love the matte decals... they look fantastic on the black Ram!
