I will get .25% off for my credit and .25% for auto pay. The regular rate is 2.75%.
That's how my credit union works too, I am getting the 2.49% because I have the good credit, have account with them.

Seen Georgia's Own CU at some low 2% rates here for 72. Of course most banks require a checking account and auto debit for the lowest available rate.

I walked away 3 weeks ago. They had a big horn night edition in billet silver i loved, but they insisted on either 7% with $6k in rebates or full msrp at 0%. Wife and I have impeccable credit so I walked.

I come back 3 weeks later because they had a gorgeous ceramic gray big horn with exactly the options I wanted. They came down to 2.8%, kept the same rebates/discounts, and "threw in" gap insurance and a 7 year warranty (but I have no reason to suspect the terms on either are any use to me). I was just happy they finally gave me a reasonable rate and price on the truck I wanted. Big Horn, ceramic gray "built to serve," hemi, 4x4, tow package, off road package, 12" uconnect, and vinyl seats with rubber floor mats.

Unfortunately the owner of the dealership is in my golf league, somewhat of a friend, so I will wait the 120 days.
at most you are costing them $150, for a captive lender. you are paying 99% of your first 3 payments as interest, you are throwing near $2-3k away to save your golf buddy $150 in a business expense. "it's just business" is a thing.

I financed through Chrysler Capital to get the extra $500 and am currently refinancing through AFLCIO credit union hoping to get down to 1.99 for 72

Financed when purchased through suntrust at 4.73% for 84 months. I’ve had the truck 4 months and just refinanced with my credit union for 2% at 72 months.

How long did you have to hold the Chrysler credit loan? How long did it take the the refi to go through? How much interest did you end up having to pay CC? I'm going through the same thing right now.

This is what we did. The rate is great! You get the sense they are a small operation, but couldn't pass up the low %.

I had the chrysler loan for about a month. Took maybe a week or so to join the credit union and like 2 days for the loan.

Went the rebate route, got 2.49% for 72 through Chase whom I’ve banked with since they were Washington Mutual.

Lots of Chrysler Capital loans in this thread - off-topic, but when you go to make a payment online does it limit the amount to $2,999? I went with the loan to take advantage of the $500 rebate (instead of paying in cash at time of sale) and didn't bother negotiating the interest rate (was a stupid high rate for a 800's credit score, but I wanted the $500...). Google and their FAQ were no help on this so I am hoping it is maybe for the initial payment, but just got the paperwork and logged is for the first time last night.

Their online terms of service are absolute ********. I just send the a ach push from my bank for whatever amount I want. It's 0% so no real reason to pay it off faster.
