Both rebels are almost identical, Rebel A has tow mirrors, air suspension and is red/black Rebel B has foldable mirrors, is all red and has coil suspension Here is the interesting part.

Rebel A is a newer build and is more expensive because option pricing has changed + air suspension

Rebel B is at a dealer with a bad reputation. Taking dealer trade out of the equation, I assume going w rebel B is riskier due to the reputation and older build date

Thoughts?

Option C. Go to a reputable dealer and order exactly what you want. Unless you're trading this is or upgrading in the near future I would not settle cause both A and B options have something that I can't live with. The wait will be worth it.
Option D. if feasible travel a little further and find a Rebel with a later build date and foldable mirrors with 360.

I'm trading in a truck and don't want to wait on option C. Ive also looked in the 150 mile radius and there are few trucks that meed my requirement

I agree you have more than two options. Once you have it, you can service it at any dealer. What do you mean by “early” build date? April or May?

Whatever you decide, use the forum check list when taking delivery.

If you are in a colder climate, go with Rebel B and send me a thank you card in 2 years.

Don’t let B know you are interested, and see if A will go get the truck you want from B.

Ultimately you’ll have to decide which sacrifices are worth making, and what will make you happier. I decided to wait to order exactly what I wanted, and my reputable dealer (with a good service manager) is holding my trade value as long as I limit the mileage within a reasonable number.

The 2019 air suspension has been upgraded over the prior gen, but don't google Ram+air suspension+cold unless you have some time to kill...

Google search “Ram air suspension problems” and decide for yourself, but realize those are just the bad news stories. You will also find many people who have no troubles, and if you have the full coverage extended warranty you would be covered too. I didn’t want the risk of getting stuck if travelling far in cold climates. UPDATE: Laughing, @Edwards no doubt!

See what they will do for you... local dealers will want to keep their local customers, so if they offer a fair price maybe they will also agree to put your trade in offer in writing as part of the sales contract so you can drive it while you wait for your custom order... non-Rambox orders are taking just barely over four weeks, as the production line is crankin now.

OK thanks, they have worked with me and given me solid #'s. But 4 weeks is nothing!

I took delivery of my Rebel exactly 1 month and 2 days after I ordered it. Can't guarantee they are all that quick, but it may be worth it! Another option, have dealer A run a locate, they will also show some incoming inventory at other stores, as long as he has one to trade, he should be able to get one back. FWIW, I ordered every option except: Rambox, Air Suspension, and tow mirrors. Make sure you get level 2 & the upgraded speakers
