Hey all, just wanted to drop some experience I have had lately with my B2 Fab muffle delete kit.

Put the kit on a couple weeks ago, went on pretty easy. After about 2 weeks, I started to hear a rattle during cold starts. Over about a weeks time it got progressively worse to the point it was doing it even when warmed up. Got under the truck and found that the slip on portion of the B2 pipe was loose on the factory exhaust pipe. I removed the clamp, made sure everything was lined up and tightened it HARD. It's been about a week since and I still have some small noise during cold starts, but not awful. I am going to have it welded within the next week or two.

I love the cheap price for the kit, great quality and great sound. I have a 2019 Big Horn. I have installed a S&B intake and the B2 Fab muffler delete. Great combo. Just in case anyone else has the same issue.

Do you happen to have a sound clip? I am still trying to figure out what to do for exhaust.

13:30 mark. This is better than any clip I could grab, and it's accurate. Cold starts are louder but don't last long.

I actually have both as well and have a rattle just like you describe. Its driving me crazy but I have checked all my bolts and tightened them all up and those are all good. My rattle seems to be coming more from the rear drivers side but for the life of me I can't find where its coming from. Did you finally figure it all out and get rid of the rattle?

Glad I am not the only one that had this issue, finally used my impact to tighten it, will see if third time tightening is the charm.

Loctite 242, good to 300F if you are having issues with vibration backing out your nuts/bolts. I have seen others having clamp issues with some of the B2 kits, clamps being a little oversize and even when fully tightened they remain loose. Not my experience, just what I've read on here. Worth checking into.

Same issue here, I think i may get it welded on. the noise on cold starts is not flattering haha

I had the clamp tightened all the way and was still getting some blow-by and rattle at startup when the pipe was cold.

The muffler shop guy tried reorienting the clamp when the truck was up on the rack and it made no difference; so I felt vindicated.

Welding fixed all the issues. (y)

B2 Fab supposedly changed out their clamps due to these issues. My B2 Fab muffler, resonator delete kit, and 5" tips are sitting in my garage waiting to be installed!! We'll see if I have any clamp issues.

Just have it welded...it's cheap and highly effective.

I ordered my kit on April 30th which was after they went to the new clamps.

Hope they work for you...
