Purchased my 2020 Ram limited in February. I am enjoying my truck but I am having a couple issues with it. Every time I do a car wash I have water leaking in at the top passenger side of the rear window. Also my passenger side rambox lid cover does not fully shut and it seems to be mostly affected by temperature When it is cold the lid has a good half an inch gap and when it heats up it is tight and flush with the frame So I scheduled a warranty to check on thsee issues and also to tighten the wiper arms.
Brought it to the dealer on 5/29/20. Dealer said it would probably be done around lunchtime and that they would give me a call regardless if it is done to give me a status update. They never called me so I called them around 1 o’clock and they seemed upset that I called them and said they were still diagnosing the truck They called me 2 hours before they closed and said I can come and get my truck. Went back at the end of the day to get my truck back and the truck was parked in the parking lot unlocked. (Luckily before I took it in I took all of my valuable tools out of the truck because I did not trust them to keep it locked). The guy at the service desk told me they tightened my wiper arms. They said they could not get water to come in the rear window and they tried pressure washing it three different times. They also said that they would get me a new seal for the ram box but the seal is not the issue, it is the lid fluctuating through temperature changes.
They then gave me back my keys but it was missing the physical key that is attached in the key fob. I then asked them where my key is and the guy said he was 100% sure that is the way I brought the key fob to them. I told them that I was also 100% sure that I had the key fob with the key in it when I gave it to them, but I guess there’s nothing I can do about that so I started walking out the door, when the guy stopped me and said I am sorry I gave you the wrong keys here are your keys. And the new key he gave me had the physical key in the key fob. Immediately went to the car wash and I was very easily able to get water to stream in the back rear window. When I got home I looked at my wiper arms and noticed the caps had not been put back on.
I am now scared to let anyone work on my truck as they do not seem to care to do the job correctly and I may end up having more problems than when I brought it in before but the water leaking in the rear window it’s a little aggravating especially when I have a camera in my back window that gets wet every time I do a car wash. Not to mention the water damage that could be causing inside the cab.
When I log into Mopar.com it still shows that my wiper arms have not been tightened so now this is a negative report on my truck like I am not fixing the recalls.
