First, thanks all for the responses. Lots of good insight here.
Second, apologies. I didn't intend to turn this into the millionth exhaust thread on the site.

Mother - I checked out the MBRP the other day after I saw your post where you coated the tips (looks great btw). They sound good, but there seems to be a bit of a flutter going on there. Kinda like the exhaust notes aren't hitting the tips at the same time. A little like a boxer engine.

For everyone else, I'm coming from a Charger 392 that I did mid muffler delete on, and that, to me, was the perfect exhaust sound/note. Fantastic at idle (blop blop blop) and race car at WOT (especially in underpasses). I'm mostly looking for that low end blop/rumble. I had three previous rams that I was able to get it from, and those had custom Flowmaster and magnaflow setups. I'm starting to think Ram has neutered the heck out of the hemi or something.

I've seen hammerdown's video before, and it pretty much sold me on the Borla. But then I saw the Flowmaster post and watched some vids, and it sounded good too. I was trying to save money with the Carven, maybe I should go big this time instead of getting another system I will ultimately not be happy with.

Any drone with the ATAK? I've got a toddler and wife to consider with this upgrade (the toddler loved the charger exhaust, so I'm not too worried about him).

No drone, as far as the wife/ toddler thing if he loved the charger he should be equally happy with the ATAK.

Ordered my Rough Country tonneau cover yesterday. Arrived at noon today. Shipped out from about 2 hrs away so was quick delivery. Packaging wasn't that good though. Few small dents on the underside. It actually went on pretty quickly but took some time lining it up correctly. I do not have to open the cover to open and close the tailgate. The end rubber seal folds back against the gate. Seems very comparable to my old Bakflip. The last panel does not fold up though. Can be easily removed with the 4 clamps though. Will post when I have more info of water tight abilities. Next is window tint.

Installed the Hellwig rear sway bar with my 13yr old son last night. Was a nice Father-Son project and speaks to the ease of replacing the stock sway bar. The only issue we had was the the bolts Hellwig provided to connect their brackets to the frame required an Allen key which we didn’t have for our torque wrench, so we ended up using the stock bolts. I didn’t feel that their was a difference in the density of the bolts. If anyone thinks otherwise, feel free to let me know.

We set the bar in its most aggressive setting and now the truck feels like my Porsche Cayenne! The floating sensation from the stock bar is nearly all gone. The truck still feels super smooth over bumps. very happy with the results!

Message me if you would like the stock sway bar and brackets. I’ll give the Hellwig bolts as well.

My initial impression after driving for just a few miles on some curved roads is that the truck feels tighter on curves. That ‘floating, boat-on-the-water’ sensation is dramatically reduced. Having driven sports cars for most of my life, I am more used to the driving sensation with the stiffer sway bar. I did not feel any difference in ride comfort.
I’ll post an update if more driving gives me a different impression/experience.

It’s definitely a task man! I always say I’m going to do way more than I end up doing.

I feel ya. It’s a lot of work getting it done but I really like the end results even if it will only last for a few days. I think a lot of it is just getting a system in place. When ur moving all over the place like a chicken with it’s head cut off, it always seems like it takes forever to get done. Plus the right supplies / equipment helps.

I always prefer hand washing at home because car washes never seem do a good enough job for what I’d like the end result to be. Plus it doesn’t help that I got stuck in one a few years ago.

I installed the Gator fold up tonneau cover and Mopar bed & tailgate mat today. I can take pics of the mats if someone’s interested in that. One thing I noticed is that the tonneau cover came from Truxedo but it’s a Gator. They must license them.

Hello , is only rear bar enough to have better road feeling ????

From what I have read on other posts, the stock, front sway bar is a solid bar similar to the Hellwig and does not need to changed. The rear sway however is not and is why people change it out.

I put about 50 miles on the truck today. No issues with the ride comfort as per all the family giving their input, and handles sooooo much better. I have it at its most aggressive setting.

Just bought same tire a few days ago but in a 275/65/20. Hopefully like you say they are quieter than the Duratrac. Plan to install them in a day or two.

The Ram ones that come with the midnight edition. They are brand new. They had to be replaced because they were leaking. Got them put in on Thursday.
