Been there, done that on other vehicles. It can be fixed, may cost you a few bucks, nothing major. Search your area for aluminum wheel repair. When I bought my truck, I saw the thin, $h!tty tires the factory had on it and opted to add wheel & tire insurance in the deal. Haven't used it yet and changed out the factory Badyears to some Yokohama Geolandars and more meat to help protect the wheels. Sorry to see that happen to you, but not the end of the world.

yes FOR SURE if it wasn't "me" the MOST obsessive lunatic that ever roamed the planet, i would have chosen to do it. In addition, the cloth inserts on the door would have had to be done as well, and when i looked at all that was involved in the installer accomplishing THAT, it sealed the deal for me that i did NOT want my doors unassembled and at the end of the day, decided its best to just "leave well enough alone" as it were, because FOR ME, i know i would have been kicking myself with all the reservations i began to have, had it not come out "perfect" and then to have spent 1500 bucks in the process to be dissatisfied : )

So in my case Risk < reward 100% of the time : )

To each their own. The door panels come off in 30 seconds. Love my Katzkin leather. Best upgrade I have done on my truck.

Installed the Mopar side window air deflectors. I was a bit worried about the clips and scrivets on the back windows but I had zero issues with them contrary to what I had previously heard/read. Also finally tinted the turn signals on my mirrors.

Has anyone purchased this exact kit offhand ? I don’t want to buy and then find out now I need three more parts that I have to scrounge around for please. :)

Everything you need included. Dealer installed for $140 yesterday, including flash. Everything appears correctly in EVIC and settings. Haven't had a chance to tow yet, but was glad to pay the nominal difference from flash only for warrantied install.

I recommend you take the $1500 you were going to spend on seats and get yourself a nice cat-back system to one up your husband.
lol that is funny, but one thing i have learned about him, there is no such thing as "one uppin' HIM"...lol I tried that ONCE, & i almost needed a cherry picker to get in my truck...lol

yup! yours came out REALLY great, and for sure one of the most rewarding upgrades you can do .... i guess what REALLY made me decide against it was "the nitpicking" i would have done everytime i got out of my husbands truck & into mine"... If i wouldn't have his Laramie factory leather staring me in the face to compare the two EVERY DAY, i most likely would have went for it : ) Its bad enough my truck next to his looks like a Tonka Truck...lol

(and don't get me wrong, he offered for us to have matching trucks (lift & ALL) , but i was like, "Nahhhhh, i'm gettin' way too old for that, i'll just take this 4x2 cruiser"... but i cannot honestly say that i don't feel like kicking his truck every day when i walk by it...lol (and mind you, mine is no slouch either... And he AIN'T got no RAMBOX's cuz he bought his hussy off the lot where as my Princess was custom built 'specially for me, so there's that : )

AND when she has the driveway all to herself with no big honkin' showoff sittin' next to her flexin' his muscles... lol

I installed a bull bar - not sure I have seen anyone else with this mod to date.

I also bought OEM tow hooks and sprayed them red before mounting.

I like the look.
