Im looking to order a 2020 Rebel.
Just seeing what your folks thoughts are on their build ->

Basically speced it with everything but ram boxes and pano roof.

So long as you're asking for opinions...

- That's a little too much black for me. If it were a different body color, the blackout package MAY look good. All-black a little played-out IMO.

- Also, I'n not a fan of the multi-gate. It kept me from buying one off the lot. Looks kinda funky from the back, and not sure I'd ever need to use it other than the standard way. (I do like the GMC version.)

Other than that, I'm a big fan!
I'm sure you chose those options for a reason, but there was my take.
Let's see the pic when you get one. Good luck!

Looks good to me, if I was building a Rebel that’s basically what I would go with, I’d probably drop the MF tailgate though.

Your build selections don't show up for me. But based on the previous post, and the fact you said you picked everything except for rambox and pano sunroof, I can figure it out...mostly.

Based on that, and since you asked, here's my solicited opinion/questions...

* I really dig the black-out look on any Ram truck. My gf has a blacked out Limited and it's gorgeous. She had a blacked out 2017 Rebel too, which also looked amazing. I wish she'd quit buying the black out package so I could buy it LOL.

*I also really like the MFT, which my gf also has. Makes it easy to load and unload things from the bed without having to reach over the tailgate. I wasn't sure at first, but after having seen and used it I wish my truck had it.

*I'd avoid the air suspension, but that's just me. It's great to have when it's working correctly, but there were too many problems with it on 4th gens, and I'd rather avoid that.

**Did you go with the Level 1 or Level 2 equipment package?
**Which engine did you select?
**Why don't you want the Rambox option?

I like the all black look, but super hard to keep clean. Also big fan of the MF tailgate because I absolutely hate the “RAM” lettering across the back of a normal tailgate. Just know, with the MF tailgate your tonneau covers are very limited, like very limited. And skip the air ride. The coil suspension is fantastic in the rebels

Ramboxes before multigate

Sunroof is a must. Unless you get a convertible

I have your exact build except the multifunction tailgate. One thing I wish i had done was the trailer tow group. It is a lot harder to add the trailer brake control after, cough up the $400 bucks now even if you don’t plan on towing. I’m wishing I did.

I rescind my comment, didn’t see the trailer controller at the bottom. Perfect build in my eyes, assuming you like the multi function tailgate!

Great looking truck, I would get it with air suspension. My current 2019 Ram Limited is my second truck with it and I absolutely love the Air Suspension. My first Ram was a 2018 Rebel with air suspension and I thought it was so amazing off road. Alot of people worry about it breaking, but I did not have a single issue with either truck with air suspension. I live in Chicago with cold weather and have over 30k on my current truck and put 40k on my 2018 Rebel.

The trailer tow group comes with the tow mirrors. And on the 1500's means you lose the power folding feature of the mirrors. And for trucks that offer it, you also lose the 360 degree camera. You can add the brake controller separately as an option and not have to sacrifice those.

I honestly have no need for a sunroof, rarely use it in my current car as is.
Something additional to fix in the future.

Regarding ramboxes, too many people having issues with them.
And not liking how they make the beds smaller.

I agree with the no sunroof, I’ve previously had them on every vehicle in my past and never used them and passed on getting one this time and don’t miss not having one at all. Cab stays cooler and my solid roof hasn’t leaked yet.;)

Yeah I rescinded my comment right after because I saw he added the brake controller separately.

Great build! You'll love the MFT and air suspension. I agree that the pano roof is over rated. I would've liked to have the Ram boxes as well but was concerned about the warping.

I agree about the sunroof. I rarely ever open mine. I wouldn't have included one if I had ordered my truck, but since this truck had everything else I wanted (at the time) I overlooked it. So far no issues with it.

To be clear, people aren't having problems with the ramboxes. People are unsatisfied with a cosmetic issue with them because the lids don't line up as well as they did on 4th gens. But functionally they are nearly flawless. Sure, I wish my lids lined up better, but it doesn't affect how useful they are.
As far as making the bed smaller, at least as far as I'm concerned, it's space I didn't use anyway. And it's not wasted space. It's just space that's utilized inside the boxes. Also seems that a lot of people with no experience with the rambox option don't even discuss the bed divider. I honestly use that as much or more than I use the boxes. It's a shame Ram changed the rambox option and don't automatically include the divider anymore.

I noticed the lids didn't fit quite right when I took delivery of my truck. But it's a useful option. I can overlook the cosmetic flaw. The lids open and close fine, and keep water out. Hell, people don't even notice it unless I point it out to them.

Sadly build didn't go through, was hoping to do the purchase through Koon's Ram but it went south pretty quickly.
Going to see if a local dealer can order it for me.

I would highly advise test driving one with the start/stop and adaptive cruise control. I was not able to find a Ram with it, but in my experience adaptive cruise control is a deal breaker for me. If the front sensors aren't working for any reason (light mist, dust, fog, etc) then you can't use cruise control.
