Adding passive entry

Does anyone have a good part number/source for the right door harness for a 2020 Bighorn with the accent light under the mirror? Every website seems to have different descriptions, and the above mentioned part number, 68429501AA, just says door harness without specifying a side on the one site I found it on. I thought I had found everything earlier today, but I don't have the work computer right now with it saved.

Thanks, that got me in the right direction. It looks like 68310304AD is the one that should work with the lighting. Now I've just got to find a place that has everything but doesn't want $107 for shipping.

Just order it from your dealer. Ask for a discount, they need the business now so they will give you some.

They've had my truck for nearly 2 weeks now trying to figure out why the trans is acting up with only 120 miles on it. They are probably tired of hearing from me. I was hoping I could use the situation to my advantage and get them to reflash the RF Hub for free once I had everything installed. Might not hurt to see what they'll do on pricing though.

If you don't need a harness to support the accent lighting under the mirrors or other additional features, you may be able to use a different one. I might take a leap of faith and order one for a 2019 and hope it works.

I couldn't imagine the 2020 harness being much different than the 2019 harness...but i also wouldn't be surprised if they were.

Trying to catch up on all this as I need to do the same. Was a moron and ASSUMED the truck had it with the way the keyless entry was advertised (WTF Dodge... I can unlock it with MY PHONE... but not with the handle??)
2020 Bighorn 1500 CrewCab 5.8 engine with Keyless (NOT passive) remote entry (FOB) and remote unlock/start capable. Want to get the passive entry added and would like to confirm what parts I need

As I understand it:
Door handles (DO I have to do BOTH sides?)
Caps (I dont know what these are)
wiring harness(es)?

Is there a way to see if my vehicle is already set to accept this upgrade or will I have to reprogram the control computer? I appreciate any guidance and sorry for any lame questions (just a bit overwhelmed). Trying to learn as I go

No lame questions here man, everything is relevant!
If you don't have it, you have to do some programming (Vin, BCM, RF-HUB)
Cap is the other side of the handle, cap is what covers the door lock.

Is there something I can do while I wait for them to arrive with respect to the VIN or software? I see some posts about having to get the "sales code" added into the VIN thru FCA? Or am I off the path there?

You also need the wiring harness for each door. The harness you have in your truck now will not support passive entry. There should be a few part numbers for the harnesses a few pages up for the 2020 model. Swifty is working on adding sales codes to our VINs but I assume he is overwhelmed with requests. I think he’s working on a way to allow us to call some number to get it added or something along those lines. Hopefully we will hear something from him soon. Once the sales code is added to your VIN and parts are installed, we will have to take the truck to a dealer and ask them to do a “vechicle config restore” this restores your truck to all the options it came with from the factory in the BCM (which will now include passive entry). The tool they use pulls your vechicle info from a database to restore it. This is where the sales code is being added.

No. You have to push the button on the exterior door handle. Still way more convenient than digging your fob out of your pocket. First world problems!

these parts websites are giving me a headache. anyone willing to give me part numbers for the handles and caps for a 2019 Rebel? Diamond Black Crystal Pearlcoat is the color.
Just wanting to make sure color is correct.

Also the part number for the rear antenna and harness to enable PE on the tailgate. Thanks!
