I do agree that the system is very good, when it works. It's one of the main reasons I prefer Ram over other brands. However, the constant issues I've had with these is beyond frustrating. When you are told there is an update coming and they are months behind on the stated release, that's terrible customer service.I think that’s a little much to expect a class action lawsuit over a radio. And they aren’t crap...Uconnect is one of the better systems out there (trust me I’ve had many). And there were little problems in the Jeep versions (which are pretty close to identical). I have a 14’ Grand Cherokee with 215,000miles and the Uconnect system is flawless.
First 2019 I have seen on this thread to get the update. Gives us some hope.My '19 Limited got an update download this afternoon. Can't see any difference, so thats a good thing since mine was working flawlessly (crosses fingers/knocks on wood).
Seems to be a bit more responsive. Others have noticed that as well. At least it was not a step backward.First 2019 I have seen on this thread to get the update. Gives us some hope.
YES, it does.No update. 19 Laramie and i'm still showing 18.23.29. Does it matter if we have the 8.4" or the 12"?

YES, it does.
Those who got the update own a 2020 ram.Don't think it does since some 8.4 were updated if you look through this 8.4 post.
I have NAV and no update eitherMy 8.4 won't get OTA updates because I don't have NAV, is that correct?
I have NAV and no update either
I think everyone should get them, Navigation has nothing to do with it.I see. But what I meant I guess was, do the non-NAV radios get OTA updates? Or are OTA updates only something that happens on the NAV units?
It is my understanding that the non-NAV units will not receive updates. This is one of the main reasons I opted for the NAV unit although I have not seen any updates to mine!My 8.4 won't get OTA updates because I don't have NAV, is that correct?
